We love Berlin, especially at Christmas. The Germans do it so well - especially all the Christmas markets. The best is the WeihnachtsZauber at Gendarmenmarkt - set in the square and fenced off with a 1 Euro entrance fee - which pays for the security...More

Nice place in Berlin for a beer and a bite. Had dinner there, took a potato soup and a salmon tartar. Both were good, plus the bread served with the soup was amazing. To drink, of course, beer (a nice Pils but they have a...More

We really enjoyed our meal here. It's located up some steps and around the corner from the main road, so sort of hidden away with several other restaurants around a courtyard area, which looked great for outdoor dining. We had beers and dinner here. They...More

Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists

crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
