very nice asian restaurant, with frie rice, noodles, curry and coconut milk soups. Open kitchen but if it is close would be better. Very very cheaper restaurant. They don't accept credit card and they don't speak english. Easygoing but we enjoyed it.

The staffs are Vietnamese and the decorations of the restaurant is somewhat authentic! The food is authentic and delicious. I have already been there more than three times with my boyfriend. Giving the fact that the restaurant is in the center of Berlin, the price and the taste are 5 stars for broke students like us :) they also offer... More

...after 12 months we visited the Com Viet again, and found that the food was still great, the atmosphere was still really good and fantastic value. We were probably the eldest diners there. There is a mix of several different nationalities all enjoying the food...that's a pretty good recommend

Great food, cheap prices, fast service. Small but warm. The duck was excellent. The only down side — no free tap water. Also note that some of the waiters don't speak english but we didn't mind.

Went to this restaurant with a friend and really liked it. The ambience is not great, but the food was absolutely authentic Vietnamese as if it was home cooked food. Really cheap and good quantity. Surely recommend for all including vegetarians.

I spent a week in Berlin by my self and went to this place like 4 times. The food is great and the prices ridiculous. The staff is very gentle.

I have been twice in this small place, with around 10 low tables, that gave me the comfort to relax a bit. The place is located in a creative ‘a’ brand street that as well the entrance to the Quarter of Prenzlauer Berg as the start of a hotspot-place. As told before, the place is small so it can be... This was my fourth time eating at this restaurant. Every time I've been the portions are meal sized so I only ordered a spring roll, a fresh roll, and two mains - the chicken ginger soup and the fried chicken on noodles. Both rolls were delicious, but the mains were salty. The soup tasted very heavy of chicken bouillon powder.... More

Fantastically cheap, and loads of food! Also very charming interior and staff, even though neither their English or German was too good.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
