Compose your meal (it's as easy as 1+2+3...), pay surprisingly little, keep a hold of your ticket, watch for your number to come up when they ring the bell, and then eat the best Tex-Mex you've ever had.

It's a great place for a quick hearty burrito meal which is reasonably priced and delicious at the same time. Has vegetarian options too and the staff is very friendly. Can get crowded !

Dolores serves authentic tacos, burritos, and quesadillas with very taste sauces. It's great for a decent snack. Might be quite crowded around lunchtime. Very affordable (for this area).

Mexican lunch place, quick service, pretty straight forward. Only gluten free option is nacho chips, was ok as a snack but not great. Think they should have more gluten free options... but very busy little lunch place and burrito my boyfriend had was huge and filling.

We popped into here just before we boarded the train to the airport, so needed something quick and easy whilst taking in the last bits of Berlin. Was tasty and my boyfriend loved them (he's much more of a burrito fanatic than me). I had the quesadilla. Felt it was a little bland, but probably didn't choose the right toppings!... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
