Came here after dropping here on our Bite Berlin food tour. Had an amazing Donner Kebab, where the meat was so juicy, delicious chilli and thick yogurt. Would highly recommend for a cheap authentic Turkish Donner Kebab.

Very expensive considering the portion size and the wine was also expensive by the bottle. Good location for bars however

Even though I enjoyed my lunch I have been to other places where you get much more in the plate with the same money or even less. I think what you pay is the restaurant style.

My partner and I visited here last night in a late night search for a meal. The restaurant was very busy (which to us is always a good sign) so we went in and waited to be seated, only about 5 mins. The Turkish wine was good! My partner ordered the lentil soup and I ordered an aubergine for starters.... More

Nice food but couldn't communicate with stuff even in English. A little dissapointed from the stuff. Not very friendly. Although nice food, typical tourkish cousine and environment.

I was never so disappointed and concerned. Each main course in the menu costs 14 euro. In most of restaurants you can get pretty healthy meal for this price. In Hasir, we have received poor piece of meat, a SPOON of rice and half of a plate covered in persil and onion. Amount of food that is served in kebab... More

The best turkish cuisine in Berlin! Very taisty tortillas and other dishes. Soft and fruity meat. Service kind and helpful. I recommend it a lot!

It's not the cheapest Döner Kebap in Berlin but it's definitely the best. Just compare the meat to cheaper places and you know what I'm talking about. Freshly cut by hand, blended with fresh bread and garlic sauce.... hmmmm.... You won't regret it and won't look at Döner Kebap the same way after your visit. Whenever I'm in Berlin I... More

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
