A standard Japanese style but very weak about the sushi taste. Mostly filled with rice and less fish! There is a huge selection of sakes. Service is very friendly. Choosing the table on the floor is a bit uncomfortable.

On my regular visits to Berlin over more than 10 years, a visit to Sasaya has always been a pleasant fixture. Now we have a one-year old baby and when trying to make a reservation I have to learn that children under 7 are not...More

The food we had was nice. We had a bunch of different starters, specials and sushi. The waiters didn't speak good English or German, but their charme made up for it.

Pretty bland rolls that are stingy on the fish portion and mostly rice. There are definitely better places.

Been here every summer since 2008. I can feel the euphoria even thinking this place. Staff is friendly, environment is inspiring with nu-jazz backround music, you can watch and be mesmerised by chefs knifeskills and the food is unbeliable good!

Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change
than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists
that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in
the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip
crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were
once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall,
there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have
been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays,
