Visited this place to have breakfast. Nice location, good coffee, good cake and good service. My rating isn´t higher since I missed the "wow factor". It was good, but it wasn´t mind blowing good.

I first found it as a Google Trips recommendation, and kept coming back to try out all their scrambled egg varieties. Lovely place to start your day with a sizeable breakfast and linger for a Sunday brunch. Good for those with a sweet tooth as well, their pastries being quite a treat.

While in Berlin we were overall very surprised by the bad level of service in bars and restaurants but the service here was outstandingly rude. From the very "welcome" moment until when they messed up our order, forgot two orders and pretended it was our mistake. Apologies: forget about them, we should have spoken german to make ourselves clear. Horrible... More

Really delicious breakfast - I had the Berliner - generous portion, great coffee, great location. It felt very relaxed, and there were mostly locals in there, from what could tell. Heartily recommended!

There's a plate that easily feed 3-4 ppl which has a bit of all the specials of the place, including crepes, cheese, meats, eggs, salmon, fruits, etc. It's very good spend a very nice time sharing food (maybe with a bottle of prosseco) and enjoying brunch time!! The place is also very cute and the service is amazing.

This was one of the highlights to our Berlin trip. Amazing breakfast, cozy atmosphere and good coffee. We ate each out breakfast plates with loads of fruit, spreads, cheeses and meat for the non vegetarian. Would definitely come back!

From outside wasn't convinced as had recalled up to Anna's which was rammed. This is across the road and so worth it. Busy busy busy. Friendly staff. Good service. New Yorker breakfast (eggs and bacon) was a little salty however think that was the bacon. Amazing coffee ☕️. Didn't try cakes. They looked epic.

This restaurant was recommended to me by someone who had lived in Berlin for a year. It's in a lovely residential neighborhood, a bit far from the tourist center. The food was abundant and beautiful. I loved my fruit and granola - and a much needed green salad was nice, too.

We ate here on Sunday afternoon - coffee and cake with the kids. It was very busy and is clearly popular spot. The staff were friendly. Our cakes were nothing special - mine was sickly and the portions massive! (And I like big portions but not so big that everybody leaves half their cake - it's wasteful). The prices were... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
