My husband & I happened on this restaurant quite accidentally- it turned into a perfectly magical evening. Our waiter Maurizio, and the other staff, was Inobtrusive but attentive, as a professional should be, uncritical of our choices, but willing to offer advice when it was requested. And the food! It was the work of someone who respects the ingredients-the freshness... More

We wanted somewhere to eat before visiting a nearby burlesque club and came upon this excellent upmarket Italian restaurant. We were dressed up for an evening out which was appropriate for this venue. We wished we had longer to stay and enjoy more food but we were a little pressed for time. We ordered a delicious bottle of wine -... More

My husband and I came here on the recommendation of our hotel's concierge. We are travelling and were dressed casually. We do not have large appetites and ordered only pasta dishes with a glass of wine each. When are meal was served, we were not offered any ground pepper, nor did our waiter check back with us to see if... More

We are here as a group, the food, service and atmosphere were all very good. I had the scallops and home made salmon ravioli - it was delicious!

My wife and I visited without a reservation and were warmly welcomed. The ambience was good and the staff attentive. We had soup as starters and these did not disappoint. I had ravioli which was ok ( I've had better) and my wife had tagliatelle with prawns which she loved. Bread was complimentary and they gave us a fennel dish... More

My wife and I were warmly welcomed by Andrea and his staff Friday evening. We had not booked a table, but this was no problem. The atmosphere was cozy, and the food superb! Best meal we had in Berlin during the weekend. Highly recommended!

I was looking for a nice restaurant with a diverse menu, and I found it here! A mix of veg and non-veg dishes, perfect for all types of dietary needs. VERY delicious Italian food! I loved it!

The Sorriso is a long-established restaurant on Berlin's Kurfürstendamm. The décor is lavish. In fine weather you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy the water garden and amphorae. There is plenty to look at inside the restaurant with wall paintings, paraphernalia and an impressive wine cabinet. The wine comes at the right temperature. The cuisine is fresh and authentic and is popular with tourists and aficionados of Italian food. If you have a sweet tooth why not try the chocolate soufflé with parfait of honey. The staff strive to give the guests a real treat. The chef can also come and cook in your home.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
