I'm a serious chocolate lover so I must say that the only objection was the size of one cake😅 too small🙈 but in spite of that, the taste, quality, combinations of flavors, also location, view, stuff, service...everything was just perfect🙌 And of course prices are little bit high but it worth it😍👏👏🍩🍮🍫🍭🍪🍰🍧

First up the shop - amazing chocolate displays, and really nice chocolates, a chocolate lovers paradise. Second - the upstairs cafe/restaurant, a busy and popular place, we made a dinner reservation and were given a great table by the window facing the market. Now, bear in mind this is a chocolate cafe, so my main dish of corn fed chicken... More

I was there for breakfast and I had a cappuccino and a small delicious chocolate cake which I chose among a wide variety of desserts well displayed at the counter. That was a real example of high patisserie. The staff is very kind and professional. The girl who served us was polite, available and smiled at us at any time.... More

Absolutely fabulous place. Lovely store and chocolate heaven. We visited late evening so it wasn't too busy. The cafe was a perfect little stop after a busy day and very reasonably priced. Quite literally the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted. Beautifully presented and service was lovely. You must visit!

The shop was astounding and a must visit when coming to Berlin; it is a great place to get those all important souvenirs. We enjoyed chocolate beverages and a beautiful cake upstairs in the Restaurant. In the shop there is some incredibly elaborate sculptures that really impressed.

Elegant setting on the second floor for a relaxing snack. Desserts were beautiful and the coffee and tea were nicely served and prepared. Excellent service. A nice relaxing sweet shack in the middle of the afternoon.

We ve been there Saturday night and we waited in a queue for a few minutes since there were a few people too. The café was absolutely beautiful! There are many tables and if you are lucky enough as we were you can have a table with a great view, next to the window. We ordered hot chocolate -the bitter... More

Stopped off here for a drink not realising how well known the place is. The waiter showed us to a table and was very attentive even though we were just having a drink. I chose the hot milk chocolate with chilli. It was so good. I have never had a hot chocolate that I've enjoyed so much and I am... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
