Burgermeister was on our list of places to go whilst in Berlin, and it didn’t disappoint! We arrived at 1am, the wait in the queue was only about 5 minutes, then a few minutes wait for food. The food quality was absolutely amazing, my boyfriend...More

I went there with my family, and although the place is not quite suitable for families (quite small, packed with people, hardly any tables and lots of noise) it'll be a perfect place for meeting with friends or going alone or as a couple. The...More

Definitely recommend this place for anybody who is a fan of burgers! Probably the best burgers in Germany. Good location, good vibe, good price! Overall a great experience. Only let down would be the fries and the waiting time!

Which is definitely saying something. Absolutely incredible food! We were lucky enough to get one of the 3 tables just outside Bürgermeister. Would 100% recommend going here. We had cheeseburgers and cheese fries. Very reasonably priced.

Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can
both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central
neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the
1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around
Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s,
rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a
carefree life here. An old hospital even became a
hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today
