I had never had Persian food before. The service was great and the food excellent. Even the bathrooms are spotless. We had good portions on every dish. There seems to be a lot of Central Asian people eating here, so that is a good sign. Parking is difficult, so go early. The service is at a good pace so you... More

This restaurant used to be one of my favorites, recently they moved to another location and everything changed. I guess they are cutting coast and this shows in the quality and quantity of the food. So long Hafis

We visited the first time the HAFIS and had a great dinner! Very friendly and fast service. Friday evening with live music up to 10pm. As starter I had Borani Bademdjan and as main dish Chelo Kabab Hafis (lamb) - both very tasty! The interior could be a little more in Persian style. What was very positive, that many Persian... This review is mostly based on previous experiences that I had with Hafis over a few years in Berlin and not the very recent one. We have been frequenting this place for the past 8 - 9 years, whenever we had the chance to go to Berlin and that is roughly once a year and had always been stunned by... More

If you are looking for Persian food in Berlin, there are much better places. The food is not inedible but the meet is almost always so dry and overcooked exactly just its unfriendly waiters!

Last time they gave us the order of others instead of ours (we just noticed it at home) and this time, we waited for 1 hour and at the end got cold foods. Although their new place is well designed now (I wanted to give them another chance for a business meeting), I will never invite my guests there again.

I'd like to say I'd never eaten Persian food before, but seeing as I lived in Tehran for a year, I can't. In my defense: a) it was 1969; b) I was only a year old. So ultimately this was like trying a cuisine for the first time. And oh my, was it good. Tender lamb straight off the chargrill,... More

They don't have some of main real Persian foods, they have just some of them. Dizi, Kabab and Ghorme Sabzi, in my humble opinion are best samples of real Persian food style. When I asked why they don't have Dizi in their menu, they answered very rudely, so I left it. They are neither respectful nor real Persian restaurant. They... More

Nice restaurant with a very original and exciting variety of food. Great for experiencing the food culture. Unfortunately there are no vegetarian dishes on the card (except for the entrees). The food was good, prices were ok.

Thank Sebastian S

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
