We have visited Reinhards several times the last couple of years, and never been disappointed. Nice interior, friendly and efficient waiters and tasty food/wine. Recommended!

This place was not far from our hotel, so we decided to try their breakfast. I liked it a lot! You really get a lot of food on your plate, and the choice is very good; from Continental to French. Staff were very professional, and after only one visit, they remembered what we had. Very impressed! I also loved the... More

Breakfasted here during our stay , not the least expensive place to eat , but very nice surroundings. The staff were attentive and the food was very good .

Wow, don't think I have had a worse waitress. Rude, Snarky, and could care less of your order. Even asked twice to get the bourbon over ice, she acknowledged it and brought with no ice. Her comments maybe you were wrong.

We enjoyed an evening meal here. We chose from the main menu which wasn't cheap but the quality and quantities were fine. The staff were efficient and friendly. The only downside was requesting some table / tap water and being told that "we don't serve that". The food was salty and tap water to accompany the wine we ordered would... More

I ate here on my own on a Saturday evening in December. The food was reasonably good but nothing to get too excited about. The most interesting part of the evening came when the waiter, in lazily picking up empty plates from my table, knocked over and broke my glass of wine. He seemed irritated with himself for this but... More

We ate here for dinner on a Saturday night. Restaurant was very busy but was still able to find us a table without a reservation. Staff were very welcoming and spoke numerous languages. Food was reasonably priced for the quality. Service seemed to take while when compared to what we get at home but I feel this maybe the Berlin... More

It was a very busy Saturday night a few weeks before Christmas and were unable to find a table at a nearby restaurant so we were lucky to be offered a table in Reinhard's if we could eat our meal in 1hour 20mins; others inquiring for tables after us were turned away. Due to time constraints we opted just to... More

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
