Great place to eat, chill and people watch plus it was not far from where we were staying. The food was good if a little too much of it so felt over faced. Service was good and they even supplied a blanket on the not so quite warm nights plus nice cushions, what more could you want

We arrive just after happy hour. Until 530pm, the steak that usually costs 20 Euros can be purchased for 15 Euros. It was a good service, however, it was slow. I sat there for 10 mins before my waiter came to the table. The guy also forgot the guacamole. I did not reminded him because I thought he might take... More

The portion sizes are huge (!!) and fantastic value. There was a small problem with a rare burger but after a quick request it was replaced with apologies. Staff are really friendly and offered a free drink for my inconvenience. Tip; ask for well done if ordering burgers.

Nice place if you like tex mex food. People were friendly. Bujitos and Quesadillas were perfect. They don't take credit card though.

Ok. First the people here are cool and friendly. Drinks are good - we had a Margarita and a long drink. The portions are also good. Here is the issue they are trying to pull off Tex-Mex with a sweet honey salsa. Get the salsa right and this place would rock.

After arriving on a late afternoon flight from Helsinki, we stumbled onto this little place. This was one of the best meals that we've had during our two weeks in Northern Europe. Food was full of flavor and the servings were very generous! The server was prompt and very friendly. My group of six dined on steak, burritos, tostadas, baked... More

If you like hot food in an informal noisy setting you will like the Tex Mex. The food was not to my liking as it was too hot (spicy) for me personally, but the portions served are huge and staff are pleasant. Good point was that you don't wait too long for your food. Prices were around 10 euro per... More

The "Tex-Mex" food was odd to these two well-traveled Texans, but the steak was thick and succulent with excellent flavor. We've had steaks in Fort Worth (aka Cowtown) that weren't as good as the "Big Steak" we had tonight. The wait staff was friendly and accommodating, though busy; atmosphere casual. Street-side tables are shaded by the elevated train tracks in... More

Ended up at this place after tiring three days. Seating outside is a big plus, service is fair, menu cards are in poor condition - feels greasy/sticky quite used actually, the food is nothing special. Nachos, burgers, burritos and some steaks are offered, good for a plan C, prices are between 5-20 EUR per meal. Was good for the purpose... More

Best Mexican food plus very good looking steaks. Worth a shot if your craving Mexican in Berlin. The chicken wings, fried mushrooms & chips/dips are all very good apps. Their ribs are a massive proportion, worthy of American style servings, while everything else is made with a lot of attention to detail and full of flavor and fresh ingredients.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
