Had lunch here with a colleague - very good and plentyful food with pleasant service. We each had one of the lunch specials. The food was served quite quickly and parmesan cheese was available on request. Will come here again.

Even the name says it cleary; it is a restaurant based on pasta! The portions are very big, the wine is good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We recommend this place, if you are a pasta lover!

We had just pasta. Putanesca, pesto and melanzane. Putanesca not the best I've ever had but the rest flawless. Nice warm atmosphere. most of the gusts seemed to be frequent customers. Very good wine and coffee. I will definitely go there again but the next time I'll pay more attention to the specialtys of the day displayed on a blackboard... More

We tried this place based on reviews after travelling for the last 3 weeks in Eastern Europe. What a disaster the foods seasoning obviously had msg in it. We suffered with heart racing for a few hours after. My husband ordered gnocchi and received risotto which wasn't even an aboŕio rice it was ordinary white rice. It was heavily laced... More

Just Walked into this restaurant On a tuesday night. Pretty small place. Owner and staff appear to speak italian. Very friendly service by The owner. Food was better than expected. Pretty Quick on the table and decent portions. Worthwhile to go back to when you are staying in the neighbourhood. Recommended.

I really liked the italian restaurant. It mainly serves Pasta, in a great variety. The food was amazing and compared to the price in a good relation! Service was helpful and kind. Next time in Berlin, we think Pasta e Basta is gonna be a "must-do" again !

This is a friendly place with a good atmosphere. We visited twice during our stay. The pasta dishes were great and we thought it was good value.

This small restaurant has quite good food, and very nice service. The fish I had was done well and filleted at the table. the owner waiter was very attentive. The special menu items were on a board and others (pastas etc) were on a menu. My companions really enjoyed the pastas, something like a ravioli, and both fish dishes were... More

Had an excellent sicilian salad and steak here while in Berlin on business. Italian the way it should be. Complimentary digestive after dinner. Waiter very professional and friendly, gave me a good recommendation for a cocktail bar afterwards.

Good food (Italian but also more general). Certainly worthwhile visiting. Nice waiters; as the Germans say "Gemutlich"

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
