Lovely atmosphere and great interior. The staff is very service minded and attentive. Milchkaffee served in bowls - a big plus. Great cakes.

The cafe is located in an interesting, young neighborhood. The service is great and also is the menu. I tasted a drink and it was very good. The staff speaks English so it's not a problem if you do not speak German. They do not accept debit cards issued abroad. For me, that was the only problem. By the way,... More

This small little café is a little bit of everything... you can have breakfast till 4pm! everyday :-) a great choice of pastry, cake and desserts, lunch and dinner. The best is actually that they serve cake till the kitchen closes. Stuff is friendly and fast. And whatever cake they offer it is delicious... enjoy your stay anytime. It's cozy... More

We went here on recommendation from a friend for breakfast and weren't disappointed. The guy who served us was really helpful and gave us tips for exploring Hamburg (thanks!!). The baked goods were really fresh and good amount of cheese and ham. In total for 2 including drinks we paid €18.

.....there are one or two things that could be improved. Decor is a bit scruffy and the service a bit brusque. I had a hot milk with honey and was a bit surprised that the honey came in a separate prepacked little pot. On the other hand the drinks were great and the homemade cakes were just that......homemade and delicious.... More

Cozy environment with young couples (gay and straight), parents with kids, older patrons. We ate vegetarian. Awesome quiche. Equally (or more awesome) pear torte. Prompt service.

Located in the heart of St Georg, this cafe offers a nice/quite large/tasty menu fr breakfast and brunch. The staff is correct but the chef was very nice with us taking our baggage and keep it in an apart area in order not to disturb us under the table. Prices are ok, not very expensive either cheap. The cafe is... More

We stopped here for lunch on Friday and really enjoyed it. The cafe was very relaxed and the main courses (scrambled eggs and shrimp, and veal and mushroom ragout) were tasty and good value. They had an amazing selection of huge beautifully presented cakes which you could smell were baked in-house. We tried a cherry cake and a strawberry cake... More

This café is really the way a café should be: Inviting interior, very friendly service, fair rates and excellent cakes! So what more can you ask for?? I started coming here when it opened up in the late 80's and then have always been coming back. Never I perceived it dropping in quality or atmosphere. My last visit was on... More
