Busy Scandinavian restaurant serving healthy breakfasts and lunches. Place is very open and airy, felt this way even with all the tables taken. Modern decor and no music so a good atmosphere created by table chat. Service quick and multi lingual food superb - organic scrambled egg with crispy bacon a stand out- mint tea served with fresh mint lovely... More

Tasty Scandinavian food can be chosen from a whimsical, ever-changing menu on the wall. When in doubt go for the quiches, they tend to be delicious. Its neat. playful interior help create the perfect spot for a pleasant lunch with a friend. Side note: If you're feeling particularly hunger-ridden be sure to order a little something on the side, since... More

We had the backed potato with salmon and a chicken salad with orange dressing. It was very good and service was nice. It was a shame that the Swedish cake was dry, because this cake is known to me to be more moist. Furthermore I didn't get the feeling of Scandinavia (which used to be my home) I had just... More

We went to Karlsons for Breakfast. The different Breakfast dishes are well made, affordable , fresh and very delishes. Karlsons is a good bet for Travelers who seek for a atmospheric breakfast place. A very good alternative to overpriced hotel breakfast or for all people who stay with friends.

They serve very simple breakfasts. Plates full of silces of your choice - ham, cheese, salmon, salami salad etc, which come with bread, eggs, butter, jam and sauces - this combines into perfectly fresh sandwich or can be eaten without bread. Accompanied with yoghurts, fresh juices, cute desserts and nice coffee - it energizes you for the rest of the... More

We found this place by chance. It s tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It s very cosy, Scandinavian style, with wooden tables. They also have toys and books to keep the kids entertained. The menu is in german but the waitress kindly translated it for us. I had a baked potato with prawn and my hubby a goat... More

After recent short trips to Scandinavian cities, I was quite pleased to happen upon the newly opened Karlsons in Hamburg, where I had a quick but delicious take-away lunch of Smørrebrøds and cucumber salad. The tables were already full around midday, and many were sitting down to a warm meal, which is also on offer. A sign also advertised breakfast,... More
