We went there during lunch because a friend of mine who lives in Frankfurt recommended the Iwase as the best Sushi in town. Well, there is nothing much to add. We booked a table beforehand since the Iwase is said do be well visited during lunch time. I can only recommend to book a table because the place was really... More

I go to Iwase about once a month and it never disappoints. espacially the sashimi is always very fresh and perfectly prepared and cut. It's hard to get a seat sometimes. But if you go there earlier in the evening and are food to sit at the bar you should be fine.

Iwase is small and very popular, so it is always difficult to get a place if you do not make a reservation in advance. If you go alone and are flexible you might be lucky. The service is amiable. The taste and quality of the Japanese soups and Sushi is extraordinarily good. The prices are high. So recommended for special... More

Really authentic fine cooking. Highly recommended to pre-book, as it is a very small restaurant. Certainly to pack it in on every visit, if you like Japanese kitchen. I would make sure I plan and book ahead of my next visit to Frankfurt!

We had an amazing evening at Iwase in Frankfurt. I got an invitation from my girlfriend and I was surprised how special and really great the Japanese food tasted. It is an autentic and original restaurant of Asian kitchens. You have to try the MISO soup, that is my absolute favourite. I only have to criticize the restromms, they are... More

This restaurant is so outstanding and it is so difficult to get a table unless you have made a reservation. It gives you a feeling of being in Japan. My boyfriend and I ordered both the Sushi Menu which has everything from 3 starters to Miso soup to a big Sushi plate and was rounded up with a delicious dessert.... More

The food is absolutely amazing. Loved it and cannot wait to go back 😋😋😋 It is a small place so make sure you either have a reservation or just be there when it opens! Trust me, it is completely worth it. Price wise is it ok and the quality is fantastic. A must taste in frankfurt 😋😋😋

Entering Iwase I've been a bit surprised, since after reserving a table at the best Japanese restaurant in Frankfurt modest ambience of Iwase is a bit of a understatement. But it lasted only until the food came at the table. What a glorious meal! I had a dinner with a brother of mine who spent some time at Far East... More
