Upon arrival I waited to be setting by the host instead of seating me he proceeded to help a guest who arrived after me. After helping that guest he still acted as if I was not standing there. I can't give an honest opinion on the food because I did not stay to try it.
We have visited kabuki a number of times with Japanese friends whilst in frankfurt. They rate this place higher than many in Japan, which is high praise. The service is good and multi lingual. The food is excellent. Really excellent and the experience is second to none.
We visited this restaurant on a busy Saturday evening. We were welcomed and looked after well during the evening. Given the nature of the cooking you do have to sit with other people which can mean you could end up sitting with lively children or a hen party. However, the restaurant manager is thoughtful and does his best to accomodate... More
In my opinion, this place is great because of the show you get with the chef preparing your food right in front of you. However, the food is good, but not out of this world, which is why I recommend visiting during lunchtime when they have a special (cheaper) menu.

We came because of the great reviews. Man were we mislead. Prices were out of sight and food was very mediocre. They served a rice cake instead of rice which was ok, but it was cooked in some cheap oil that flavored the rice terribly. There was no chicken on the menu, but we asked. It arrived with large chunks... More
Authentic japanese restaurant, fresh ingredients, live cooking. Mid-range prices for the evening, very good value for lunch. Not really kid friendly, hot surfaces everywhere and no room for running around. Perfect for business lunch.
This was the second time we visited this teppanyaki restaurant. The chef cooked in front of you, he presented business card to introduce himself. Food is good, presentation was nice. Service was okay. The only issue is of course the price. However I must say, it's quite worth it for once-in-a-while dining.
