If you like German food this is the place for you, I have eaten here on a number of occasions and have never been disappointed. The local donker beer is also very tasty.

A wonderful experience for All Creatures Great and Small ! We were so lucky to sit in the 'Saeufernische', as it happened to be free. What fun. We looked at the pictures with the kids, enjoyed some really fabulous German food, generous helpings and some of us some German beer. Large sturdy wooden table and bench, ideal for lively kids,... This place has become a regular stop for me when I am in Maastricht. Easy bus ride over to Aachen jump off at the Theater Stop and Brauhaus is maybe 100 meters away. I always get the schnitzel. The inside is nice with booths for sitting but I prefer to sit outside if the weather is nice. They have a... More

This was a great culinary experience. Good German beer, fabulous meaty food and brusque Brauhaus service. I've been to a few of these in Munich and staff too busy to be disturbed seems to be a Brauhaus theme - perhaps one they could update to a more customer friendly one/ Still, the meal was great, even if getting the waiter's... We came to eat typical German food here. In had wiener schnitzel, which was very tasty. The crust was crunchy but the meat was a bit hard, maybe because it was too thick. A friend had had grilled pork knucle (haxe). I find this very delicious, though I can't finish it myself. It has a crunchy crust and the meat... More

My wife and I visited this Brauhaus whilst we were staying in Aachen for our Christmas markets tour 2016. We always visit this venue when in Aachen as it has always been a great place to get good standard German food and beer. We have always managed to get table but would suggest a booking if there are a group... More

We choose the schnitzel of the house. Excellent! Best schnitzel ever! not too thin with a fresh mushroom-sauce. Also the seating is very nice, feels very authentic. see pictures.

There is this German Word "Gemuetlichkeit" that does not translate well into English. Well if you eat or drink here you will know what it means. Food is good German fare although prices are on the higher side. Service was swift but not particularly friendly. Non German speaking guests may feel a bit rushed and not well supported in their... The lady at the reception was impolite and racist towards to not germans. We were really disappointed and wanted at first to go but decided to stay. The food was boring. The service was ok, professional but not friendly. The whole atmosphere was really busy and unfriendly. A family from greece.
