Right opposite the Main station, very friendly, good quick service. Basic German fare but totally edible, reasonably priced, and obviously great beer. Would highly recommend if you are waiting for a connecting train. Barman there had worked there for many many years and was very friendly and helpful, spoke perfect English too which is always handy when your stuck with... More

Visited on a Sunday night. It had a nice atmosphere and was full of locals. English menu available. Very good kolsch. Food was good, we had a chicken dish and surf and turf salad. Both were good portions and tasted nice.

Let me start by saying that of you are in for for fine dining, don't go here. This place serves simple food, typical German dishes, like Schnitzels. We were lucky to have nice weather and ate outside. Waiter stopped by if we wanted a Kölsch, which is local beer. We agreed, got 2 small glasses (0.2l) and the waiter checked... More

This exciting and colourful tavern provides the most amazing food and at "locals" prices. If you want the best traditional German Fayre, then this is THE place to visit! Even when it's busy, the service is second-to-none and the food is absolutely wonderful. Take the time to visit and, genuinely, Eat, Drink and be Merry! You wont regret it!

Typical local Brauhaus with excellent food, really tasty and of good quality for a fairly reasonable price. In addition the service was very professional and friendly. A good choice and certainly not the last time we had dinner here.

This was close to our hotel and was recommended by the staff there, and they made a good choice. Excellent beers, staff much friendlier than the brauhauses in the centre of town (where surliness is apparently OK and acceptable according to the locals we know!) Good food too, typical German fare, heavy on the meat side but even a vegetarian... More

I went for dinner during the Carnival and found the place to have both a great atmosphere and extremely tasty food. The steak was delicious, good quality meat and well prepared. Served along a baked potato. Dessert was also very good.

I was in the area and noticed that this place was popular with locals, so in I went. I had a Kölscher Pizza - which was basically pizza toppings laid on top of Rösti. It was tasty and filling. A couple of Kölsches were welcome. I even got the manager to update my smartphone with the password for the Wi-Fi.... More

This fantastic venue in a beautiful part of Cologne (very close to Neumarkt) offers amazing beers and wines, the most incredible food in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere ... The staff are amazing... they make it ... they are wonderfully friendly, We loved it and would advise everyone to try it out when in Cologne. You will not be disappointed.

The good: We walked in, were promptly seated, served nice kolsch beers and had friendly, attentive staff taking our orders and serving us solid, tasty food with generous portions. We liked it so much the first day, we went back the next day for dinner. It very clearly was a place locals go. The bad: Nothing to note. The odd:... More
