Great German food in a prime location- not many options for vegetarians although pesto pasta is available - bratwurst was amazing. Atmosphere was great, the restaurant is in an old hall with beautiful stain glass windows; very cultural.

Being a native German from Cologne, I have been to the Frueh am Dom a great many times. Never have I been disappointed by either the swift service or the typical local food on offer! The quality is good without a doubt. The atmosphere is not cosy, however, the local itself is stunning with high ceilings and wooden interior.

Stay in the Hotel above this restaurant. Becoming a habit of visiting when on business in Cologne. It was my colleagues first time and she thought it was great. She polished off a knuckle of Ham and I had the Bruhaus Suasage, washed down with a few beers. Good Value and quick service. Might go again on this trip. Fine... More

Huge place in a historical building. Just being there is already worth a visit. Expect traditional and heavy German dishes and home brewed beer of course. Not Very refined food but good quality and quantity.

This is a duplicate listing of Brauhaus Frueh am Dom. I have reported this before, but Trip Advisor takes no notice.

The pork tenderloin was delicious and the staff were helpful but very busy. I would recommend dinner here.

Some of the freshest lager I've ever had, absolutely loved it here. Didn't have any food but it looked great

The waiter was rude as we didn't speak German. We left because of him. Very poor considering everywhere else was ok with us not being German speaking. I wish I had a phot of this guy. Very rude.

This place is not far from the cathedral. Lovely atmosphere, settings and staffs. We ordered soup, a sausage dish and a pork knuckle dish. Service was alright with the soups, but with the main, the sausage dish was served first, where I had to wait for a few minutes longer for the pork knuckle. A bit surprised that this would... More
