Quick and very friendly service. I ordered the Schweinhaxe and the meat is really juicy and tasty. Even the sauerkraut and mash potatoes that come with it are really tasty as well.

This is about as authentic as you can get! My husband and I enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The pork "knuckle" as it's called is so tender you don't need a knife. The visual of the pork roasting on the rotisserie just adds to the drool factor. Our side dishes were very good as well. If you are not... More
A repeated visit everytime I come to Dusseldorf, just to have the Schweinehaxen meal, which is one of the best roasted pork dishes I ever had.
Had to come back, as I was craving the liver and mashed potato....yum. You wont find cheaper food than this in Dusseldorf AltStadt. Decent wine to boot

If you want basic German fare for a great price, you need to check out Schweine Janes. Everything was extremely tasty and supported by friendly and fast service.
Been there at night time around 8 and I had queue for 20 mins (it was Sunday) normal day would be more crowded! The Pork leg was so lovely, you should try, beer is so so, you can try beer else where. lamb was just fine! Highly recommend

Dear staff of Schweine Janes,
We are from The Netherlands and Next week Saturday we have a bachelor party in Düsseldorf. We like to eat at Schweine Janes, but there is no possibility to make a reservation I heard. However to make sure that we can come with 9 persons, can you not reserve for us?
Which alternative do we have if we want to eat German food?
