This is really a nice place. It's hidden in a small alley. The place is small but very personal and cosy. Love this place. Staff is helpful and very friendly, good service. The menu was surpisingly nice, enough choices. The wine selection was good as well. When our food was served, it was absolutely tasty. The wine was perfect.

We were staying nearby and discovered this small restaurant (in Neustadt, across the river) while walking back to the hotel. We had a pleasant evening, ordering schnitzel with pfifferlinge (mushrooms) and salmon with zucchini and potatoes. The wine list is mainly local, which suited us as these wines are rarely seen elsewhere. The room is very small and charming. Service... More

Wandering around the newer side of Dresden we came across this cafe off a small side lane. With tables and chairs outside and an atmospheric inside it was a great place to stop for lunch. I just had soup which was very nice and friends had more substantial meals and enjoyed them. The 'new wine' was interesting to taste -... More

Busy place, lovely food, couldn't find table outside, but after starter inside very helpful waiter took us out to the first he could find for our mains. Lovely seasonal specials with chanterelles

Been in this "Winzerstube" twice, once in winter were you can sit inside in a very comfortable, cozy vineyard like atmosphere. Make sure you reserve a table. Summer is wonderful too, as you'll find yourself outside in a quite backyard, surrounded by gardens and old historic buildings. Main features: -A fantastic choice if wines, accomplished with a passionate sommelier who... More

I walked over to Albertplatz square area and had a Saxon style dinner which was delicious. The Saxon specialty: pot roast with red cabbage and dumplings. The dumplings have breadcrumbs and butter drizzled over them. I waddled home

Although there were nicer restaurants for food, we actually dined outside in the courtyard of this restaurant twice because it was so close to our hotel and sitting next to the beautiful gardens was lovely. Also the customers seemed to be natives of the area to some extent. The staff was very friendly and spoke English. The wine selection is... More

Good to see that amid pizza and taps that good German cooking is still holding its own. We looked for local food and beer and were not disappointed with either. Service good -see earlier review. Good settling, quiet tarrace behind the shops with view of fruit trees. Had lunch and dinner and will go back again.

This was a lucky find and I was wandering the streets of Dresden in search of dinner. The two places that had been recommended to me were full, so I walked the back streets. I was able to get the last table here, which was one of maybe 7 tables. Small, cozy space that feels like being in someone's home.... More

Smallish restaurant tucked away in a pretty square in the quiet New Town. Very relaxing. Large choice of well chosen wines, many available by the glass. Good food, with a slightly different accent to most German restaurants eg no bratwurst nor ice cream on the menu. Several house specialities. Competent service. English spoken. We had 5 meals here over 10... More
