Famous for its marzipan. This shop has everthing from cakes, chocolate, lollies/sweets and also a cafe. The cakes are absolutely delicious.

The quality of the products is still unrivalled, but the cakes seem a lot smaller than they used to be, certainly 1/3 smaller than products in other coffee places. My main beef is with the fact that the place is usually crammed and there is no system or support from the staff to find empty seats. Even after finding a... More

Visiting my family in Lubeck last weekend and I was dying to go there to try some cakes. I had Marzipan cake - best cake I've ever had, and believe me....I've had a lot cakes in my life. Lovely, classy place with tradition. Beautiful museum on the top floor also. Must go if you're in Lubeck. Highly recommended!

We came here because it seems it's a "must" when in Lubeck. It's an old famous café with a big selection of cakes. However, for a tourist it can be slightly confusing. Firstly, finding a table can be a challenge. Then you have to queue to pick your cake, then you return to your table, where your cakes will be... More

There is a shop with all kinds of marzipan. At the 1st floor the famous café and on 2nd floor is the marzipan museum. Although the café is crowded with guests you always get an excellent service. Choose your cake and you get a number. Find your place to sit and the staff will come with your coffee/tea/chocolate and show... More

Went in for a coffee and cake. Service understaffed. Small place need to be lucky to get a table. Selection of cakes of small. Considering that this is Niederegger cafe rather humble. Nice though next to Christmas market IF you get a table

Its a place for true marzipan-lovers) Just a "place to be". Nothing extra. The prices are higher than in typical cafe. The service is really good. Good location in Arcade to observe the citylife of Altstadt.

I visited here during Christmas. It's wonderful. There is a huge selection of marzipan of course as well as a spacious cafe.

Thank Shawn S
