It is with great pleasure to submit this comment card to remark the kindness, efficientcy and courtesy of Romerijo staff specially Elena and Juan that attend us tonight and put a big smille on our faces. The Seafood was delicious. We will be back for sure.

There is nothing wrong with this restaurant, but there is nothing special either. Andalusia has many restaurants which exceed Romerijo. In the other towns near Jerez de la Frontera we found several who served fish as fresh and as well prepared but which provided better ambiance and greater imagination in presentation. Santa Maria has much to offer, but Romerijo is... More

We arrived and were reluctantly greeted and sat outside which was ok .We ordered the starter of a fruit de mare and the show was pedestrian to say the least and cost 27 euros. Having seen the starter which was served on a plate not much bigger than a side plate we decided that was enough. This resturant is ranked... More

I was excited to go to our first restaurant locally. Apparently this place has a good reputation. I must be a fussy eater. Everything was fried and no vegetables. Maybe that is normal for the area, but I was disappointed. I did asked for lettuce and tomato and was able to get some greens that way. I am not used... More

This restaurant seems to be part of a seafood company in town, so there is always an abundance of fresh treats. They do take out and dine in. We did both more than once. Some reviewers have commented on the price, but considering how fresh it is, I thought it was good value, and well prepared. It is very popular... More

We were in Puerta de Santa Maria for one night (14 Nov 16). During the day we passed Romerijo's Restaurants and as we love prawns, mussels and shrimps we thought we would go back in the evening to have an evening meal. At first we nearly did not eat at Romerijo's because we were the only one in the restaurant.... More

If you want an experience of selecting your fresh fish from the shop, having it weighed and then shown how its cooked for you and later served, then Romerijo is the restaurant for you located just a few meters from the river. Just be prepared for a hefty price tag at the end of the day when you pay the... More
