Excellent selection of tapas, but beware the recommended ham as, although very nice, it is expensive. Service very good, prices generally reasonable.

This really is a nice place and we come here often... it is like the village meeting point for spanish tapas in Elviria. The only thing you should know is not to accept the waiter's first suggestion of 'shall we start with some jamon serrano?'... always the most expensive item on the menu. Shame, as it makes it feel like... More

A proper Spanish tapas bar full of locals & tourists. Very good quality and selection. Busy and efficient waiters. So efficient that we continued to order past our own requirements which made for an expensive evening; but well worth it.

Had Tapas here today for lunch, octopus, prawns and clams. All very tasty. The place was very busy with locals and tourists (like myself) alike. Been to this area for years but first time we popped in. Will be going back

Greeted by friendly polite staff, upon ordering drinks my wife chose a Sangria (the jug I must admit had 70% ice cubes in, hence attempting to top up, the jug was empty, i ask at the bar if it could be topped up, (later discovering a charge of 2 euros!) maybe assumed wrongly! that we were tourist recommend that we... Great place to go for either a quick snack of tapas dishes or for a full meal. Tables inside or on the terrace, which opens onto the 'plaza' where children can safely run around and play.

There is not really much to say, except that it is a fine restaurant. We went 8 people, and the service was still top-notch, except for one day, where they were really busy. The only reason for not given 5 stars, is that it was nothing supreme. Just good food at acceptable prices. Recommended.

If you are looking for something slightly different and a little more speacial with tapas and raciones then try El Barracon Good quality food and reasonably priced and good atmosphere. We enjoy it every time we go and can never fault any of the dishes.

Had very late lunch/early dinner and the food was very good. Plate of Iberico ham, grilled red mullet and paella with excellent wine with coffee and brandy to finish. Service was excellent and helpful. Not cheap but we new the cost before ordering and was worth every Euro.

Thank BG9
