We were looking for a different restaurant and realized that it was closed. As we were walking back towards the main part of town one member of our party had to use the restroom (it was an emergency). Nobody was in the restaurant, so she opened the bathroom door. The door was shut by the server, which startled our travel... More

A perfect choice for lunch while you are walking in the area. A very nice gentleman listening to French speaking radio but communicating well in English or Spanish operates this restaurant. Food is served elegantly and tastes amazingly well. A place with nice atmosphere, full of Granada and Moroccan souvenirs.

We wanted to try some nice Moroccan food and this restaurant didn't disappoint . We were here for lunch after sightseeing. It's 10 minutes walk from the Cathedral and the food is so much better than the traps near the Plaza Nueva. We ordered hummus, lamb couscous, meatball tagine, and mint tea. Everything is delicious and full of flavors. We... More

We were overdosed on tapas and after walking around the Moorish quarter we had a hankering for hummus. We chose La Mancha from TripAdvisor. After a long cab ride up the mountain on steep and narrow hill streets we arrived at a tiny, unassuming place. The boisterous owner welcomed us but gave me a lecture about my e-cigarette, "You must... More

The owner is a lovely guy from Morocco who speaks 4 or 5 languages. The food is well priced for it's location near the Mirador San Nicolas. My wife and I enjoyed our meal out there.

The restaurant itself wasn't very inviting but it had reasonable reviews on tripadvisor so my friend and I decided to give it a shot as we were after some arabic food due to the strong arabic culture in the city. We walked into an empty restaurant at 7:30pm and the man on duty saw us but didn't acknowledge us despite... More

The food is delicious, fresh and flavorful! The neighborhood is enchanting with its hills, narrow streets and view of the Alhambra. We ordered chicken tagine with prunes and lamb couscous with raisins, honey and almonds. The flavors were amazing and the meat cooked to perfection. We also ordered the hummus and bread- it was the freshest lightest hummus I have... More

We were seated around 2pm with no other customers in the restaurant. The interaction was in spanish. Waiter was friendly at first. We ordered a tagine to share between two and he told us we should order a couscous too, which was a whole extra meal. I told him we just wanted to share and asked if it was possible... More

We had 4 meals at La Mancha Chica Chaouen and from the starters, to the main course, desserts and the mint tea, we were more than happy with the flavours of the lamb and chicken tajine and the fluffy and flavor-packed couscous. The flatbread was outstanding and went extremely well paired with the rich sauces prepares by the wife of... More

We had a very unpleasant experience at this restaurant, and the food wasn't good enough to warrant it. The owner is very condescending and made our last dinner in Granada a very unhappy one. Luckily, the Mirador de San Nicolas and some ice cream made up for it afterwards as I was feeling quite low. If you were to ask... More
