Palacio Andaluz Almona is frequently celebrated for its welcoming and attentive service, although issues with payment methods have been noted by some guests. The restaurant's Moroccan dishes receive accolades for their flavor, with the lamb tagine and fresh baklava standing out, although a few diners have pointed out excessive saltiness in certain dishes. Many visitors are charmed by the cozy, living-room-like atmosphere, complete with delightful decor and the welcoming touch of mint tea. Despite some service and payment hiccups, the overall value is generally appreciated by guests.

After a 22,000 step day, we certainly had worked up a bit of an appetite. And, thanks to TA, we made the effort to find this Morrocan gem and experience an absolutely lovely meal. We shared a hummus plate which was fresh and plentiful and then had our own entrees, only cleaning our plates because the food was so vibrant and healthy. Our total bill came to $46 U.S. and was worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Having worked up an appetite by walking through all the local neighbourhoods we decided to try some Moorish food for dinner and settled on Palacio Andaluz as it was the highest rated one in the vicinity of our hotel. We were not disappointed. The service was perfect from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. The menu was concise but plentiful. The food was fresh, and tasty and simply mouthwatering. We shared the hummus with home baked bread, meat keftas and their special “pastelle” which is a sweet and savoury filo pastry filled with chicken and almonds with a cinnamon dressing. We also had some really tasty rice. Far too much food for 2 as portions are big, but gosh it was delicious. If we weren’t leaving Granada today we would go back. And best of all it was cheap. All of that plus a freshly made smoothie, Diet Coke and large bottle of water for €42!! Please note they don’t serve alcohol but you can bring your own.

The food here is undeniably delicious. We tried the selection of dips for starters and then couscous and tajine for mains and all were flavorful and tasty. However it was quite pricey compared to other places in Granada and the service made me a little uncomfortable - they took away dishes when we'd barely finished but then took quite some time to bring the bill. The waitress could've cracked a smile too! Overall it's probably not somewhere I'd go back to because I like to feel comfortable when I eat and despite the delicious food I didn't feel that welcome here.

The service was accommodating, the food was scrumptious and rich, and the atmosphere was pleasantly inviting. Overall an amazing experience and a great introduction to Moroccan cuisine. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Granada.

This is the real thing, from basic appetizers to tajines to lamb couscous to sweetest desert. And the mint tea! The very best! Given the quality of the food, the wonderfully comfortable environment and the first-class service, this is not an expensive restaurant at all. To top it off, we asked to purchase the mint tea set as a souvenir of our visit. To our great surprise the owner came out and presented it to us as a gift. There are so many things to learn in the world about the generosity and graciousness of people.

We were glad to find that it was open until 4:30 for a very late lunch/early dinner. Such friendly service, beautifully presented and delicious, fresh food, and even complimentary appetizer, and coffee and small bites of dessert. We had the mixed appetizers, a vegetable couscous, and a lamb tagine, which were all divine. I recommend the Moroccan tea!

Our first meal in Granada was at this restaurant and the food was tasty and the place is clean and well maintained. The decor was modern with traditional Moroccan food served. The staff were very friendly and the price was very good value for what you get. We tried the lamb and chicken skewers serves with rice and vegetables. The second time we came here we tried the tagines. The service and food and atmosphere is 5 out of 5 rating from us and they even gave us complimentary desert after seeing us again for the third time! We finished the meal with a Moroccan tea. This is a halal resturant and would strongly recommend anyone who is Granada to come here and taste the food!! Thank you for looking after us!

We went for a quick lunch upon our arrival just before setting up to visit Granada. Needless to say that we ended up staying much longer than expected. Everyone was amazingly welcoming and attentive, caring for the detail, from the waiter to the owner. The place was lovely and neat. As for the food, there's nothing to say other than how perfect it was. The couscous was on the spot and its meat was perfectly tender. The bstilla was unique and delicious and we finished with some amazing Moroccan sweets and tea and a very typical Arab coffee. If you're looking for Moroccan food, this is the perfect place to get it.

Me and my wife ate here two times during a quick visit to Granada. The food is absolutely amazing. Everything we had we could taste the love and the fresh ingredients. Their attention to detail made it a wonderful dining experience. This restaurant cares about the quality of their ingredients, presentation of the meal, and the staff there make sure that you are well taken care of without being invasive. I highly recommend anyone visiting Granada to have at least one meal here.

The reviews for this place were spot on. Service, food and atmosphere were amazing. The mixed salad starter and moroccan bread are not to be missed, the chicken tagin with olives and preserved lemons was very tasty and the baklava with moroccan tea (which was poured correctly) was the perfect ending.

We turned up here on a Saturday night when it opened and were immediately seated. The chicken tagline with vegetables was exceptionally tasty. My husband had the chicken kebabs with rice and he really enjoyed his and he can be picky. I tried the kebabs and the chicken was good quality and they had marinated it in herbs. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and was excellent and the mint lemonade had interesting flavours. They were turning people away as they will fully booked so it’s obviously very popular. The staff were friendly too. For this type of meal I thought it was excellent and although not super cheap was decent value for the centre of Granada. We are thinking of returning before we leave

This place deserves its 5 stars! Food and service were excellent. When we placed our order, the waiter warned us that we were ordering too much food. Our daughter wanted vegetable tangine, but my husband and I wanted chicken tangine. The waiter brought us vegetarian tangine with a side of chicken, which was tender and delicious! It was the perfect amount of food.

Based on the excellent reviews for Palacio Andaluz Almona and our desire for good Moroccan we decided to try this restaurant. Whilst the decor is quite contemporary & could be considered non traditional the food was very authentic & most importantly very good. Air Con is a real bonus when it's 35 outside! Staff were very friendly & attentive & our terrible Spanish was negated by an English speaking waiter. I would highly recommend if you're after good Moroccan food.

We walked by a few restaurants beautifully decorated inside with fun colors but followed the reviews on google and trip advisor to this restaurant and glad we did! The service was friendly, the staff speaks English and Spanish every well. We started with the hot and cold appetizer plates. One with several pastries type dishes, Falafel, Spanish and cheese and the other with hummus, other veggie dips. All very flavorful and delicious. My partner had the lamb tagine which was full of flavor, feel off the bone and was served with vegetables in a beautiful clay pop. The Moroccan tea was very strong but presentation is excellent. The moon shaped cookies served with the bill were incredible. I highly recommend this place.
