Brought by a local friend, I was able to taste traditional Granada dishes and enjoyed a very good quality wine, Lopez de Heredia Viña Cubilio, at the suggestion of the restaurant. The dishes were really good (a Remojon salad is a plate of cooked broad beans with jamon serrano) but it is above all the air in the restaurant that is fascinating. In short, a nice place to have lunch!

We visited here after reading a recommendation in the national UK press, it did not disappoint! You must book a table, it's not a big place but is very busy. We had a few sharing plated and a lovely bottle of wine, alongside a really nice glass of cava and a Sherry. It is not the cheapest place you can go, but the quality is excellent! The tomatoes are delicious! Unfortunately for me, the tables are all high, with tall wooden stools. I have a back injury, and this made it a little uncomfortable. Overall, a delicious experience!

We had high hopes for this restaurant, but, overall, were disappointed. We had booked, but were seated on stools by barrels in a dark back room, as were other tourists on our visit, so it was not very comfortable. The wine was good, but expensive, in comparison to us buying similar bottles elsewhere. I didn’t enjoy the food, mostly plates of cold meat. We wouldn’t return.

Simply stupendous! This tapas bar has the most wonderful food (how can you make a simple plate of small chopped tomatoes with dressing a wonder to behold - I have no idea either but they do here!) The atmosphere is off the scale as all the locals seem to eat there and, once the place was full, we had to shout at each other to make ourselves heard. It also has the best wine list in Granada and most if not all the wines are sold by the glass and, if you don't like some thing they suggest having tasted it they will simply bring you something else. Please go her, you will, not be disappointed.

Absolutely amazing food! There aren't many places you can get gluten free Tapas in Grenada without the risk of cross contamination. Here has an array of options and are delicious! I was delighted by the food and by the wine. Even the standard tapas that came out, they brought a little GF version for me. I was very impressed by their service, food and wine!

Went for drinks and a few tapas, loved the wine and ambiance. Wish we had ordered more! Delicious fresh tomatoes and great tasty sardines.

So disappointed as we had made a special effort to come here based on the reviews. There were 4-5 tables empty but we were told we could not sit at any of them - and then were rudely shown to the back room with ‘we don’t do tapas here’. As big wine drinkers we felt very unwelcome in somewhere that should have been a favourite of our trip.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend as a place we should go to while visiting Granada and the recommendation was spot on. The food and service were great, but it was the outstanding wine list that made our visit special. If you like the opportunity to enjoy wines you may not have had before, this is a place you should visit.

Really good fun…was recommended to us by some friends who know Granada well. Enormous choice of wine and the food is fresh, generous and good value. Only gripe is that they took 2 weeks to confirm our reservation, only doing so the day before. Our best lunch in Granada!

The place to go if you are interested in wine. They have an enormous collection, well informed servers and a wonderful set of tapas to go with the wine. You should reserve although we got a seat (we waited outside for the place to open). You can't go wrong here with either drinks or food

So lucky to get in without a reservation. The complimentary seasoned tomatoes tapa was so simple, but incredible, and our favorite dish. The giant white asparagus was delicious. The pork shoulder, aka dried ham, was okay. Dessert sampler was good. Service was disjointed and confusing. Helped ourselves to our wine bottle a couple of times. Would be happy to return and try other dishes. Recommend making a reservation as many were turned away.

Are you into wine? Then this is your place in Granada. One of the waiters is also the sommelier. And he is one of the youngest ones in Spain but don’t let age fool you, he’s very knowledgeable. If you are lucky enough to get one of the tables he looks after, he will be more than happy to recommend some great wines based on your taste. They serve a massive variety of wines by the glass so you can treat the occasion as a bit of a wine tasting experience. Food is very tasty, most tapas are on the cold side but still very good quality, they specialise in embutidos (cured meats). You won’t leave feeling hungry. Loved it and went there for 2 dinners out of our 3 nights in Granda.

The wine list is much longer than most tapas bars but the food menu is very limited and a bit basic, and the wait staff has grumpy attitude even on a slow night. A tapa may or may not accompany each drink, who knows why.

Nice wine list. Enjoyed some of the dishes but some were a bit meh. Recommend the vermouth, tomatoes, and blavk pudding. Swerve the herring sardines, they weren’t much cop. Booking essential.

On a four-day visit to Grenada, Taberna La Tana was one of the best we visited. Great vermouth and tinto de verrano, and the tapas were outstanding - bread with tomatoes, olive oil, and a slice of dried sausage, assorted cheeses, and some pate were all superb and very fresh. On a second visit we ordered some morcilla (spicy blood pudding soft and spreadable on their fresh bread) with pine nuts was delicious and the cheese assortment offered four very different sheep's milk cheeses. Service was uniformly excellent, and their outside seating area very sheltered in what is a busy area. Sit inside if you can though as it is very atmospheric. If in Granada again, we will definitely pay another visit.
