Super good food on the go! Quick service and great selection of local food at this tiny eatery. Only seating for about a dozen or so at this cozy place but well worth eating here because the food is fresh, tasty and excellently prices. Very casual and popular with locals, many youth grab hot food here on the go and so do tourist who can’t help but notice the crowd or line of people ordering food here during lunch hour. I got lucky with a table on off mid day hours and enjoyed several of their traditional Arab food items. Even took some delicious cookies to go!

We adore this tiny little gem of a restaurant. Run by the sweetest people who truly care about your food and your experience in their petit shop. Generous helping and super reasonable prices where you’ll find locals and kids from the hostels grabbing a bowl of lentil soup or falafel. We tried almost everything and it was comfort food for us.

I was searching for a place that served Hairira soup (Moroccan vegetable soup) near by and found this place conveniently located about 3 minutes from where I lived! I ate there many times. They have quite a big menu as well as a wide variety of desserts. I’ve tried all 3 of their soups (lentils, hairira and navy beans, all saltier than what I’d prefer), empanadas (spinach and beef, chicken) , seafood paella (too little seafood) and my favorite, chicken with rice. The price was good, people were friendly and you could take out what you wanted. The place is almost always full. There were only 5 tables.

You haven’t been to Granada unless you’ve been to Papas Elvira!! Situated in the most central part of town from the outside it doesn’t look anything special but as soon as you step in and take a seat you feel at home! The pita falafel was absolutely divine and just what I needed after being bored of the small selection of tapas I can eat due to being a vegetarian. Don’t expect a fancy dinner here but expect good quality ingredients turned into incredible homemade dishes. The flavours explode in your mouth and in the space of 2 days I went 3 times because it was irresistible! The lady is the cutest woman ever making sure everyone there is enjoying their food! I wish there was one of these in every city:)

Wow! Delicious food made with great care for flavor and great prices. Fabulous vegan choices and many other dishes for everyone. The lentil soup is amazing, then there’s the perfectly made spinach pastry like spanakopita but better and the lasagna is to die for! The owner also makes her own refreshing lemon aid adorned with mint leaves. Don’t forget to try her family recipe for dessert, the baklava is perfection dripping with honey. Dine in her small place and feel like family right away or take away and enjoy the city.

We wanted to order 4 different dishes as we were used to from other tapas restaurants. The waitress told us that we would have way too much food, which was very nice since we were very full after ordering just three. We had a superb spinach bourek, a pita falafel and cous cous with vegetables. All three dishes were beyond amazing! And it's cheap as well - unbelievable :) DEFINITELY go here, the food is great, big portions, cheap and the staff is very, very nice! Papas Elvira don't miss

This is not a large restaurant. There are 4 small tables for eat-in and serves take-out as well. We ordered 4 dishes and 2 small desserts for 20 euros and the food was varied, ample and tasty. We enjoyed it so much we went back the next day for more. Understand that this is not Michelin food but it is really good and serviced by 2 nice ladies who work really hard in their small kitchen space. It takes only a few minutes from ordering to paying. If you want tasty food, great value and good service, try Papas Elvira. We will probably be going back one more time in the next few days.

Stopped here for a quick bite of dinner on our first night in Granada. My husband and I both had the dinner that came with 3 falafel, loads of hummus, spiced rice and green salad. My husband also ordered chicken wrapped in phyllo pastry and dusted with ground almonds. Flavouring was definitely Moroccan and very good. The owner is lovely - we don't speak Spanish but she instantly broke into English and we had no problems communicating with her. The restaurant is small with only 4-5 tables however it is clearly very popular and many dropped in to order grab and go. There are also pastries if you have room for dessert. We really enjoyed the meal and will likely eat here again before we leave Granada.

Clean, fresh food. Very well priced. We had the veg lasagne, chicken and mushroom empanada, hummus and falafel pitta plus 2 drinks and it came to 16 euros. Small place inside but you could always takeout. Host speaks enough English, good service and friendly. If you want to stop for a quick bite, this place will do the trick. It also looks less questionable than some of the cheap kebab places on either side of it.

This place is so amazing that I went there every day (sometimes twice a day!) for the past 2 weeks! The food is delicious and healthy, with lots of vegetarian/vegan options and very reasonably priced too. The staff are all lovely and helpful. I will miss this place when I go back home!

A very small restaurant that serves delicious Middle Eastern food. The seating is limited so be prepared to wait or opt for takeout. The falafel pita was very tasty and filling. The seafood paella was just ok.

My girlfriend and I were wandering around in Elvira, looking for something healthy to eat since I'm coeliac and we found "Papas Elvira". The food we found was astounding, nothing comparable to other kinds of food in Granada. Our idea was to go for some tapas and we ended up eating a few main courses and taking Wassila's homemade baklavas. I will definitely go again in the future, totally worth trying

I found this restaurant by searching "healthy food Granada" on Trip Advisor. I concur with all the other reviews that it's absolutely delicious and VERY affordable! I asked the owner/cook if he could make me some chicken and vegetables. It wasn't on the menu, but he custom made a dinner for me. Very kind of him and very good food.

Great wholesome food and the best carrot cake ive ever Ate! When in Granada be sure to try this tiny little restaurant. Ate here three time's while in Granada and would of had more meals only for I couldn't find it..I kept walking past!! the food is just great, healthy and good size portions at a reasonable price. Don't change a thing about this place as what you have is special. It was end of February 2020 only getting to write review now.

My favourite place to dine in Granada. A tiny place, seating about 8-10 people. However the friendliest place to come for a solo traveler. I felt very comfortable eating there, people seemed to chat between tables, often to recommend dishes. I ate two dinners, a dessert and a snack from here. They were all delicious, plentiful and such a bargain price for the quality of food. Vegans and vegetarians will have plenty of choice too! The ladies who ran the place were so warm and welcoming (and hard working - when do they sleep!).
