Had just arrived in Granada and went to the nearest restaurant that looked good online after a long coach journey. Absolutely blown away. Unbelievable food and great service. The chef made us tapas without a menu and just brought us food. The garlic pork loin was delicious. Not one to be missed!

Went for lunch before visiting the baroque church. Between us little Spanish and them little English lunch was ordered and served. Went after 2pm many eating places were closed. Was happy to be inside this quaintly painted bar with local people inside. Food was good and reasonably priced.

We made a reservation and specified at the time that we were coming for tapas (as we were moving to another place later). When the first of us arrived we were shown to a table and ordered drinks as the last of our group of 4 joined us- the tapas was delicious and the man serving us was lovely however when we were leaving the chef came out of the kitchen and started shouting at me in Spanish. My Spanish is limited as I am learning and the one of us who speaks fluent Spanish was busy paying the bill. I could not understand why this man looked so angry and was shouting at me again and again. My friend came over eventually and it turns out the chef was very angry that we had only had tapas and not ordered any dishes as we had been at a table (the restaurant was empty and had only one other table the whole time we were there). The chef was so cross my friend could only say politely we understand and then we left while he shouted that there was normal behaviour and then there was what we did. If we had known we would have ordered a dish or moved to the specified tapas area as our mistake was completely unintentional but the way this man handled this situation was over the top and out of control and super rude. A shame as we will never ever go back to this place no matter how long we all live in Granada.

Local tapas bar serving very good food for reasonable prices. We had set diner option and it was great value and splendid taste. Friendly hosts and servers are added value, helpful and welcoming. Definitely place worth considering for a quality lunch or dinner.

Soooo good!! Not touristy at all and a good deal for very good food! Our waiter brought us free appetizers. The guacamole toast is topped with pepper and cheese. So so so so good! Our waiter was so nice and helped us find gluten free options. Highly recommend. The artichokes were also fantastic

The food and the service were both sensational. Came here for lunch and ordered calamare and beef dish with gravy and potatoe chips. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Also got a small tapas as a starter with compliments.
The waiter was very friendly and kept chatting with my companion who spoke Spanish.
Definitely a place I can thoroughly recommend.

My wife and went for dinner based on the reviews. A tapas of anchovies on guacamole and toast was good as was a gazpacho but our pork loin was dry and flavorless and the artichoke hearts were mushy. The staff was friendly. Not worth going to given all the other good choices Granada has to offer

We went here based on TA reviews. And it definitely deserves the good reviews. We had calamar and artichoke. They were both great. I can even say that it was the best calamar I ever had. You must try it! Even the tapa they served before the main dish was amazing. Both my wife and I are impressed with the taste of the food. We highly recommend this place.

Just been to the Monastery and wanted a beer, the loo and a stop. I found this place on google - we had actually already passed it. It was empty ( but early ) and we ordered drink. About two minutes after the drinks two plates of paella tapas arrived. I ordered another beer and a tempura fried dogfish was delivered; still two weeks later and much tapas eaten both free and paid for this was the best I have had. A very young couple came in - he was desperate for the toilet and to be fair she bought a soft drink. She got the paella tapas and spent two Euros. The front man and his chef obviously enjoy company and entertaining. We regret we did not have time to stay longer but I think this is the experience that I will remember best. As we left the Spanish were arriving.

Visited here a few weeks ago when in Granada to visit Alhambra. What a treasure! The staff were super friendly and helped us by speaking in English - as we cannot speak Spanish! Food was fantastic and the atmosphere brilliant. Well worth a visit if you are in Granada

We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed, Lovely authentic place, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic; pickled aubergine salad, oxtail and pigs cheek, all delicious, followed by flan and crema catalan. Good house wine too, recommended!

The place is small and intimate and quite cheap. We were given a plate of olives, bread and AndalucÃan ham. We then ordered the cod with ratatouille (was nice but the skin was fried separate and I wasn’t too keen and the ratatouille was quite mushy) then my boyfriend had croquettes and chorizo which he said were amazing. We had 2 or 3 glasses of wine and 2 beers and our bill was around €40. Would go back but would try other places first.

Really good food , i would imagine anything off the menu will be nice .. it’s that type of place and excellent service - white wine was very nice too! Would highly recommend ... best food we tried in Granada and if we were here another night we would be back . 15 Euros each for 2 wines each and a seriously good feeding !
