We happened upon this place as it was en route from our hotel to the cathedral, and stopped here several times during our trip for a quick drink and occasionally, a tapas or two. We always sat outside so I can't speak for the restaurant inside, but our experience was good. It's not spectacular but good enough for a pit... More

On our last evening in Sevilla my wife and I enjoyed a great evening in this very specially decorated restaurant, which is hidden a little away from the street. Had we known it before we would have gone there at least once more. The menu card includes several interesting choices, not typically found at other Sevillan restaurants, such as rabbit,... More

Super little tapas bar. Waitress fun and smiley. Food tasty and ample tapas sizes. Spinach and chickpeas so creamy in texture , calamari tender and chicken pieces just enough to see us through till dinner. Nice refreshing beer - though a number of wines available. Not pretentious just right for a quick linch and very reasonably priced as so close... More

Mediocre food, midnight grapes came on plastic stapled bags, near midnight each table was given one or two bottles of cava, which was semi-sec, as well as semi-cold. No music at all, only thing that was done to give a little new year's eve ambience was a TV turned on a few minutes before midnight, so we would know when... More

We were literally the only people in what we discovered was the restaurant and bar attached to a hotel. So the service was good....no one else to take care of. But rather than a converted convent, which it is, we felt like we were in an old attic. And the food was so so. Fish was overcooked and sauces were... More

Stone walls, beamed ceiling and huge chandeliers await you at this gem of a place. Make sure to take in the flamenco show before dinner.

After a beautifull spectacle of the Semana Santa we looked for a tipical spanish restaurant. The restaurant was described as a very nice place to be. Very disappointing! The scenery was ok, but the service and food were below standard. We ordered oxtail (cola de torro) which was more bones than meat and the iberican porc chops (chuletas iberico) were... More

nice place, food terrible. The paella was the one freezed and precooked in the black pot. no fish taste at all, only a terrible tomato sauce and a lot of water inside the pot, because of the cooking vapor. the same paella that you could buy (but you'll never would!!!) at 6€ at any bar with the paella picture outside!... We should of checked trip advisor!! Shabby, dated not rustic. With so many nice places to eat around this was badly advised by one travel book. Customers seemed embarrassed to be there, so many Seville restaurants were full of Spanish people this was not, mostly English & French. Please read the other low reviews as their spot on.

We booked Meson Don Raimundo for New Year's Eve at a cost of EUR90 per person. Whilst the surroundings were pleasant and the service was good, the quality of the food was terrible: one of the worst meals we have ever had. The first wine was terrible, the white wine was good and the 2001 Rioja was a true disappointment.... More
