Lovely fresh food at a reasonable price and lovely staff. Lot of choices with regard to tapas and drinks. Love the cold spray mist that cools you down.

Carmela does really good, honest, well-priced tapas. You can go multiple nights and try a variety of different dishes and be assured that everything will be tasty. Definitely somewhere I'd go back to time and time again.

Travelled all over Spain, best tapas I've ever eaten. Sophisticated, interesting and super tasty. Staff are relaxed but very attentive. A must visit in Seville.

We didn't eat much, but what we had (gazpacho, papas bravas and drinks) was good and reasonably priced. Friendly staff, nice decor.

It's an absolutely lovely cafe with outside seating! The service was fantastic and the tapas were AMAZING. I really can't describe how good these tapas were. The chicken curry was mouth watering and the pork with rosemary was also savory and amazing. I definitely recommend...More

Delicious tapas well prepared and served with a smile. Fried cheese queso frito with compote was very tasty and cooked perfectly. Excellent gazpacho. Squid with black rice was also very nice.

We serve the beers in small glasses, we call "caña de cerveza" and also can serve in "botellines" (small bottles of 25 cl.), all very cold. :)

Description
Carmela Bar is opened since 1994, it is an excellent reference to taste TAPAS, an Andalusian tradition. It is located between the Santa Cruz and La Juderia area, a very distinctive place of the Centre of Seville. This is the perfect place to make a break and sit down in its great terrace near the most important monuments of our city: the Alcazar, the Cathedral and the Giralda. It is also located very near La Carboneria, a famous place for live Flamenco music.
