A local took me, my wife, and her family here for lunch after we arrived in Aviles and it was one of the best meals we had during a week long trip through northern Spain. We feasted on clams, mussels, scallops, and other delicious seafood as the staff kept our glasses poured full of fresh sidra (Spanish cider). The place... More

This place is the real way to get an idea of Asturian quality and generosity. So well cooked and served, excellent sidra and authentic service. I cannot fault this place.

This place looks nothing from the outside and the decor on the inside isn't up to much either but don't be fooled. The food at Casa Lin is top drawer. We dropped in on our first night in Aviles. We were two very hungry adults with a 14 year old and we wanted something to share so went for the... More

The place was recommended to us by the hotel concierge - and really it was great. Arrived around 9:30pm and the place was packed, but luckily someone in the place spoke English and helped me to make a reservation for one hour later (+/-) We then went for a walk and a drink somewhere else in town (plenty of places... The ambience is pretty simple, divided into a drink (sidreria) area and the dinner part. Looks very simple (paper tablecloth) but food (particularly seafood) is fresh and cooked according the Asturias and Spanish tradition. Pulpo con patatas (octopus with potatoes) is worth a stop.

Ate dinner at Casa Lin last night on Trip Advisor suggestions and were so happy to have found it. It was local and authentic. We ate Zamburiñas a la plancha (scallops) - to die for, and mejillones (muscles) en salsa picante, and Padron Pepper. All was outanding - as was the cider.

Great service and beautiful fresh products. Menu is available in English. A great atmosphere and staf is willing to help you with your chose. In the front of the restaurant is a bar located and in the back you can dine. These two rooms are divided by a aquarium.

Very well cooked, an enormous variety of seafood and fish of very high quality, a lot oh them completely new for us. At the beginning the service is very slow, but once they star to bring the food they keep the pace. If you want to go in a weekend better to reserve.

This is a sideria that serves huge portions of delicious fish. It enjoys being "authentic" so there's sawdust on the floor which is just as well as sidre is poured the traditional way (from a great height!). Everything that came out of the kitchen looked absolutely delicious but you need only one starter and one main course off two people... More
