Went twice. Was totally worth the wait. The first time we Waited at least 45 minutes but once we got in there they Did not rush us out at all. He really said we did not need to rush when we asked for the check as we usually automatically do (so nice!) The waiter was very respectful and the food... More

Either if you choose fish, meat or Italian dishes Vesuvio will fulfill your expectations. The starters are soon tasty. In front of the port with nice views. Not expensive

food is no good, horrible pizzas and pasta? you'd better buy a camping gas and cook yourself the spaguetti you can buy in a supermarket. I cannot understand how this rte is opened when other very good restaurants in Gijon have closed due to the crisi.

I've been to this place on numerous occasions over the past 3 or 4 years and it has never disappointed. I've taken friends and family there from other countries and the pizzas have received very high praise. I love the pastas myself, having tried too many to remember. The ensalada griega is a must try. Best place in Gijon for italian food and if you get a table at the window you hav a nice view to the marina haven.
