First of all, I am Chinese and I have lived in Japan for a long period. But I still CANNOT appreciate any courses from this menu. The name of the restaurant seems Japanese but when I find what I ordered it's like Chinese dishes meet Japanese ones in a very terrible way. Seafood Udon is basically like Udon cooked in... More

While in SS, most of people want to enjoy tapas or ocean fishes. In case one needs absolutely to have asian food, Tsi Tao is an option with a mix of vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese dishes. Well prepared, good quantity, lunch menu including drinks for 13,70€.

The food looks vaguely Chinese but based on the taste quite hard to pin down what cuisine it is. The main taste of all the dishes is a combination of MSG, oil and salt. Every dish we tried immediately hit you with the power of monosodium glutamate, apart from the frozen dumplings which had no taste at all. We also... More

Tsi Tao was another nice surprise. I'm a japanese chief and the quality of food in Tsi Tao was top. I were talking with the owner, Jackie and Pomen, and they are very profesionnal people. 10 over 10, highly recommended

We had walked by this restaurant frequently during our visits to San Sebastian and finally tried it this year. We were not disappointed. The food was very good and the service excellent. The lunch specials were nicely done and reasonably priced. The restaurant is fairly small and quite popular, so reservations are recommended.

We had heard good things about Tsi Tao from the locals so we decided to check it out. We weren't disappointed although the price was higher than expected we enjoyed our meal, left feeling full and expect to return. We had the Vietnamese rolls (note: they are fried not fresh) which were served with crispy lettuce and a mint leaf.... More

Casual, yet very nice decor. Food and service were very good. My daughter had beef and broccoli, and it was the best rendition of that dish we've ever had.

Mistakenly came to this restaurant instead of another Chinese restaurant recommended by our concierge in Maria Cristina Hotel. But it turned out to be a great dinner. Small and quiet restaurant but the service was quite fast with only a waiter and a waitress. Must order: Wonton soup Crispy noodle Crispy duck Morning glory with garlic Beef with brocolli
