Stumbled into this place and was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was very friendly...they squeezed us in for an early dinner when we didn't have a reservation and could not have been nicer through the entire evening. The food was amazing!

Seeing the meat freezer from outside of this restaurant, we booked a table for dinner right away! The location is right in the middle of the famous area for pinxtos in the old town, very happening all day long. It was fully booked on a Monday night, the menu offered good selection of salad, seafood and meat. Order their signature... More

Very popular pintxos bar, with a great selection, including fresh raw oysters too. Friendly staff and reasonably priced. Frequented by locals and visiting foodies.

This really is a Must Visit, if you only visit one tapas bar in the old town, then make it this one. The variety of tapas will suit all tastes but be adventurous. The restaurant (reservation needed) serves high quality Basque food - the grilled beef rib is exceptional.

We were looking for a major seafood experience and were not disappointed. Although we went for dinner we had to run the gamut of fabulous Tapas offerings on our way in. (Eg. Stuffed sea urchin!) Our waiter, Axian was most understanding and let me have a sea urchin as an appetizer. He also helped select a good wine from a... More

Visited here recently with friends. The staff are friendly, the local sparkling wine is great and the pintxos are out of this world. Incredible flavours - seafood, ham, anchovies, crab - all done very well with a traditional local feel. One of the most delicious restaurants I have visited.

The restaurant was packed! We waited about an hour, but it was well worth it. Great decor and pintxos, nice wine list reasonably priced, and the monkfish was the greatest I've ever had. Went with 6 of my greatest friends, and it was an experience to remember. If you find yourself in San Sebastian, go on a Pintxo Crawl, and... More

Quite a bigger pintxos bar, with a fresher variety of tapas, the must haves are: • Solomillo (tenderloin) • Ostras (oysters) • Risotto • Gulas (baby eels) Definitely enjoy some of the local favourite drinks (txakoli or cider), but I'd always go for the Tinto de Verano - red wine with lemon Fanta!! So crisp :)

Good place to go to the restaurant area or to the pintxos area. Always crowded is the only one with non stop kitchen until midnight in all the old town.

Spending two nights in San Sebastián we visited almost 10 different tapas/pintxos bars and this became our favorite. There are other cheaper places but we felt the pintxos looked fresher and more attractive here. We really liked all we tasted. Always quick to give new plates, heated the ones that be served warm/hot and very pleasant ambience. The better wines... More
