Fabulous food with fantastic service. What an absolute gem of a restaurant, hidden away out of sight just off the main promenade this restaurant at first glance could easily be overlooked . Booked on a recommendation it did not disappoint. Food was fantastic and delivered...with such flare by our lovely server Caesar , each course presented with a story of origin and anticipation. Cocktails were also delicious and a nice wine list finished off this fantastic experience. Highly recommendMore

Without a doubt, one of the best meals I've ever had. I am so glad that we stumbled upon this restaurant – it was a highlight of the trip! Besides amazing food and ambiance, the service was beyond compare – Cesar was phenomenal! We're going...back again before we go because we had such a wonderful experience. Just go!More

Best meal we have had by far in our 10 days in Spain! From start to finish it was exceptional! Cesar was amazing. Recommended great dishes, paired great wine. The chef and the bartender were terrific. It was a culinary delight for the taste buds...and the eyes! Don’t miss this one!More

Nice but very rich food and relatively pricey compared to other (better) restaurants in the old town. Pleasant staff, okay menu, small tables, catered for tourists- would suggest old town has more atmosphere and quality of food is better. Would not recommend or return.

I literally laughed out loud with delight twice during our meal. The first time was as the mustard, lime, kiwi butter (this week's flavor) slowly exploded in my mouth, accompanied by warm, homemade bread. The second was as we discovered the hidden delight of a...perfectly poached egg, nestled in a cloud of deliciousness and occasionally bursting with crispy pancetta surprises. From our server, Cesar, to the beautiful cocktail, to the incredible attention to presentation, texture, and flavor, this meal was one of the highlights of our trip so far!!More

The second we arrived the staff treated us like we were guests coming for dinner at their home. The food was spectacular. The shrimp pesto plantain appetizer was the titillating foreplay to the orgasmic pork loin. Michelin star worthy dishes. Thank you so much for...such an incredible evening.More

Having read some excellent reviews, we booked a table for dinner. We were greeted by Cesar, who proceeded to make our entire evening very enjoyable. He seated us at a lovely table for two. The food was out of this world; the crispy rice cakes...topped with tuna tartar and caviar was an incredible way to start. The scallop entre was delicious and my husband enjoyed the hake with Thai curry sauce. The wine list contained many local and international bottles. To end our meal, we had the best martinis of the year!!! We highly recommend and thank you Cesar for making our dinner most memorable.More

We were able to get a walk in table for 2 on a rainy San Sebastián night after a recommendation from some fellow travelers we’d met previously on a walking food tour who said that it was far better than a Michelin Star restaurant that...they had been to. My wife and I shared the Burrata entree which came out slightly different than what we expected. The flakey pastry on the underside of the glorious Burrata was a lovely little find, with the sun dried tomato and pesto drizzle perfectly accompanying to make it a delicious entree. My wife had the scallops for her main which she said were excellent. Now it’s party time. I had the pork for my main dish and it was bittersweet for me as I now no longer want to try any other pork dish. I spent the entire time savoring every bite whilst trying to compare it to something that I’ve had before and came up with nothing. The pork itself was cooked to perfection and fell apart at the touch of the fork. The sweet wine reduction was by far the best glaze / sauce that I’ve had the pleasure of sampling. We were considering staying another night just to get back to the venue to have it for a glorious second time. Basically, I’d travel to San Sebastián from Australia purely to have the pork again. The venue is a lovely, intimate setting that isn’t loud, with incredible cocktails, out of this world food and lovely staff. If you have one night in San Sebastián, this is the place you want to go. Unless you love pork and don’t want it ruined for you (in the best possible way)More

The food here is amazing! We had the dumplings and burrata toast as starters. The main dishes we had were the Beef Wellington and the Butter Chicken. Easily some of the best food we’ve had in Spain. The Butter Chicken was better than some authentic...Indian restaurants back home. The wait staff was so sweet and attentive. Very nice and easy to communicate with in English. The drinks were strong and tasty. The vibe was modern yet funky. Highly recommend for a great dinner in San Sebastián!More

Casar was our wonderful waiter. The pork tenderloin was incredibly moist and easily pulled apart. The wine recommended, Remelluri Reserva 2015, was the perfect accompaniment. And the playlist of music was the best of the 60s, 70s and 80s. We had such a good time...with leftovers to share the next day. We booked another reservation before we left.More

We were lucky to get a table on a Sunday: better to book ahead. The waiter was very efficient, and could speak French (we did not try English). We had a copious lunch, which was perfect after running a half-marathon. The music was great, also.

I am not a vegetarian and I don't own the restaurant. I just ate there. Although they don't have vegetarian dishes on their menu, they do offer fresh local vegetables.
