then eat it and ask for a navarro or a txokoli (chocoli). Just around the corner and down one block from la Brexta Mall.

Wow! Wow! Wow! San Sebastian is the undisputed king of the pintxos. The Old Town is so full of bars that you could stay here for a month eating yourself to a cardiac arrest and still not manage to eat in all of them. Some are for tourists, some are for locals, some are for both, some are about invention... More

Had to stop hear since Anthony Bourdain did on one of his episodes of "No Reservations". It's hard to choose what tapas that are artfully spread across the bar - we asked the server to choose the top 3 for us and we were not disappointed. Highly recommend the white asparagus!

This pintoxs bar was by far our favourite for hot pintoxs especially their Cod Croquettes which were absolutely moorish. Each day we would go and devour the 'Brick De Bacalao'. Service is not fancy and no English but it was our favourite in San Seb!

THE BAR : Founded in 1982 by Inaki and Maite Agate this bar was one of the first to complement San Sebastian’s early cold counter-top pintxos with warm freshly made to order creations. Do not be tempted to pass by this little gem which seems quite unpretentious from the outside. The cold pintxo were fairly standard but the specials board... More

The food was as good as we have ever tasted. The guy behind the bar was friendly and helpful and we would return in a heartbeat. It is difficult to pick out anything specific, but the bacalau and foie were perhaps the standouts in a great meal.

Our guide started the Pintxos Tour at Bar Haizea (translation wind), and we had the Prawn with Bisque and Brick of Cod. These are two of their unique specialties. As we had started early ~~7 pm, it wasn't crowded and the service was quick and friendly. Of the 6 Bars that we visited that evening, all of them top recommendations,... More

Came here on recommendation from a family member and it was delicious! Really friendly staff, fantastic food and wine, and great atmosphere with plenty of locals around. We ate the brick de bacalao and the daily special - asparagus con crema temporada. Both were fresh and delicious. Absolutely recommend this place!

Located in the old town but away from some of the hustle and bustle. Friendly feels like home kind of place. A glass of txakoli and a couple of tapas was a great start to the evening. The cod "brick" was light as a feather lick your plate good.

The gildas where fine and the ventresca also. The pintxo de tortilla de patatas had enough salt to salt an adult cod.
