We were here before and decided to go again on our next holiday to San Sebastian. We were not disappointed at all. As a starter we had delicious asperges, which were prepared very well! For the main dish we choose Halibut, which we can truly recommend, but make sure to be hungry. We shared with two, but we could've easily... More

We had a wonderful dinner and only wish that I was a bit hungrier. The owner could not have been more gracious and also chose a delicious bottle of wine for us for less money than the one we chose. Learnt later that the owner/chef has his own cooking show and is somewhat a celebrity. Loved the mushrooms and egg,... More

The service nice, the setting elegant and in the old town close to the ocean but more quite than the old town. Decent wine menue for fair prices and some interesting choices from the other regions from Spain that do excellent wines, not only Rioja and Ribera. The food started well with an amuse bouche that was with basque excellence... More

We had a nice dinner served at ease and according to our choice. Discovered the subtle tastes of Asparagus with mushroom and had a tasty fish soup. Haik spread for the main course with potatoes was nice with lemon sauce. Desserts were super topped up with Moscatal. Overall a great gastronomic experience....

We were in town for a short weekend and we decided to have a nice meal in this restaurant. We were welcomed with a smile and had a nice table downstairs. They helped us pick out a wine that went with our food. Had a great variety of local food, mostly fish that was prepared very well. We really enjoyed... More

Fabulous restaurant, food, service, ambience was top notch! We were able to share most dishes and the white Rioja paired perfectly with everything, even the water was great ! This restaurant was much better than the Michelin star we went to next night!!! Thanks we will definitely be back and tell all our friends!

This is an exceptional place to eat. The staff are very efficient and friendly. They are very helpful. The menu is good and the food is excellently cooked and presented. The wine list is also of a high standard. The owner is very personable and he works hard to ensure all diners feel valued. On the many occasions that I... More
