Dinner at Basmati was a real treat. We were surprised (and a little nervous) to learn that the only dining option was a fixed price menu, but we were NOT disappointed. It was, perhaps, the best Indian food I have ever eaten and the extra...More

Great night. Worth the effort and great experience. We enjoyed it no end. If you are undecided (as we were) just do it - you'll not regret it. Bit more expensive than others nearby but the quality far outweighs.

Explosion of flavours, wonderful different tastes, the experience was truly amazing. The set up menu is quiet pricey but you get given a LOT for it so it's worth treating yourself to it, really! Very accomodating for vegetarians, very romantic atmosphere and high standard service....More

My wife and I have visited this restaurant several times in the past few years and enjoyed the experience. However this time we were extremely disappointed. The chicken course was basically bones and the main course consisted of a couple of lumps of veal, chicken...More

We did, and having eaten at the Basmati are so pleased we did. First piece of advice would be to book if you can, or perhaps visit them as they are opening up, as they may have space early in the evening. We went for...More
