This quaint place is situated on the main street of San Andres, well worth a visit, if you wish to sample the local cuisine. You will be guided to a room at the rear of the bar, there are several of those, good thing though the bar is small and noisy. The portions are rather large I had a parrillada... More

Casa Goyo is a nice restaurant located in San Andrés a little village in the centre of the island we went there following the recommendation of local people. The food is just amazing they serve a really tasty fried chicken breast stuffed with ham and cheese from the area. The desserts are amazing too. All their dishes are home made... More

Right at the centre of the Island is the town of San Andras, and in the centre of that town is Casa Goyo. A plain looking prefab building with a restuarant bar serving traditional Spanish cuisine. Unlike many Canarian restuarants fish was not the priority for the menu here, the emphasis being more on meat, and in the Spanish way,... More

Is a traditional restaurant, in fact is like a house, each room is a dining room and the cook is the owner's wife. The "bacalao" and the "pollo rebozado" (chicken) are simple incredible, and when you'll taste the homemade cakes you'll decide come again!

Oh god! You really cannot leave the island without trying the famous PECHUGA DE POLLO, a breaded-cheese stuffed chicken breast in a humongous size! Literally every person in the island will tell you : go for it! Good traditional food, proper canarian style and with a local crowd . Also give a go to the desserts! A yummy mix of... More

Casa Goyo is on the left going through San Andres from Valverde. In the winter it is much cooler than nearer the coast but I suspect that this place warms up quite quickly with the number of people eating there. The front bar is compact - and crowded with just half a dozen people there - as most of the... More

We had been on a tour of the island and were looking for somewhere for lunch. This little place is not particularly noticeable, but is not to be missed! English is not their forte, but they are really friendly and helpful. Ladies loos are really clean! They do charge you for the bread and mojo but the main course made... More
