Really quite disappointed with our final evening meal in Santa Cruz. Had walked past this place a few times and seen it quite quiet in comparison to some of the neighbouring restaurants but Saturday evening proved busy elsewhere ( definitely book ahead) so we decided...More

Our first evening in La Palma after an early morning flight from the UK so we were both tired. However we were disappointed in the meal. We both had hake but all it came with was a couple of boiled potatoes & some lettuce, tomato...More

I'm pretty disappointed in this place. I didn't have high hopes, either. The food was salty and fatty and nutritionally pretty weak. The fish wasn't particularly good, and the service was indifferent (though I acknowledge the restaurant was busy at the time). It's unfortunate that...More

Nothing special. Nothing to remember. The wine was terrible. We changed two types of wine witch were unsafe to drink and then we asked for beer. The food was average to poor. The staff seamed upset and was unwelcome.

This restaurant is supposedly the most upmarket in town but we found it to be poor value and rather disappointing. The food was fine, I had delicious rabbit in almond sauce and my husband had hake steaks, although the salad garnish with the fish was...More

A lovely old meandering restaurant, obviously an old residence for a 'Don'. Treated very well as a solo diner. Food is lovely. The cheese pie starter is great but there's a lot of it! The local vinos are a must. Give it a go if...More

We discovered this delightful restaurant in our wander along the seafront. Inside is a lovely planted courtyard, whilst there are tables here there are others in another area and on the pavement. We both had grilled hake (merluza) and were not disappointed. Beautifully cooked and...More

Set on a courtyard on the front away from the bustling crowds with trailing plants from the internal balconies offering great seafood and attentive service.
