We went recommended by the owner of our apartment and didn't deceive us. Magnificent and really fresh seafood. They let you know the prices of a kilo so no surprises at the bill but no cheap as you have to pay the quality. They also...More

What a gem, everything we had was outstanding. “Almejas frescas)gran clams)” superb, “Sopa de mariscos(seafood soup)” a dream, finishing with “Langostinos a la plancha(grilled prawns)” unforgettable; paired with good wine. We closed with a house made fig ice cream and lastly a sip of orujo....More

Great place! Very popular with the locals. The food was excellent, as was the recommended local wine. The prices are fair for what they serve. The staff was helpful and very cheerful. We will return when in Santander.

Marucho’s is the typical restaurant in every city with the best products but the place is from last century. Seafood gastrobar, you can take up or sit in one of the 5 tables.

It’s a very popular restaurant, so come early if you don’t have a reservation. Staff who assisted me was not particularly friendly. I had fried calamari and a salad, accompanied by a glass of wine: the calamari was fine, but just fine, not particularly delicious....More

A very very nice place to visit; it has the flavour of the old fishermen taverns. Fully recommendable are for example, the “cabracho pudding”, the “rabas” (fried squid), the “calamares en su tinta con arroz” (squid cooked in its ink with rice), and the cheesecake....More

We were a large group of 37 with a supposedly fixed menu based on fish. We were expecting much better quality in the fish we were supposed to receive. The lady told us on the phone that they could not fix certain type of fish...More

A small, but very popular place serving fresh and well-prepared seafood. This is a rustic, old-fashioned fish-on-a-plate tavern, so don’t expect anything too fancy. I had the tomato salad, albondigas of monkfish and grilled langostinos. The langostinos were tasty, but the albondigas were bland (yes,...More

Don't like the food and service. No taste in fish plate which I ordered. Green Salad was with tuna but it wasn't said in the menu so my boyfriend ordered it as he doesn't like fish and couldn't eat it then..
