Came here a couple of times by day and night . Tapas at the bar is good during the day and food at night was also good ,we did have to queue for a table though which shows its popularity .just of the square this is well worth a visit.

We came to El Trebol on 2 consecutive nights (Saturday and Sunday). They don't take reservations so it was very busy. We had to wait for around 30 minutes to be sat down, but staff were very organised and made sure people were sat down as fast as possible. Everything was very fairly priced and we didn't pay any more... More

We actually ate here twice, once for dinner, and the following day for lunch. For dinner, we had a tomate relleno (excellent), the bomba trebol (a potato stuffed with meat, sauce, and tomato then breaded and fried, very tasty), croquetas, and pulgas de buey (delicious cheap ox sandwiches). No complaints about the meal, other than that because they have limited... More

We ate lunch here on a crowded Saturday afternoon. We got lucky and managed to get a spot at the bar. We ordered the selection of the manchego tapas. It is very good and I recommend it for someone visiting Toledo and wanting to try the typical traditional food from Castilla La Mancha. We also got the bomba (potato stuffed... More

Had lunch here and it was crowded with both locals and tourists. Standing section on the ground floor and seating section upstairs. Menu in Spanish only and had problems communicating with waiters. But was able to point to other diners' food and ordered. The Bombas were excellent; it is a must-try. We also had the tapas selecion and pork ribs.... More

When we entered looking for a light dinner of tapas, we were told there was nowhere to sit. It is a large restaurant but most of it was closed off. They obviously did not want our business so we left.

If the waiter hears you talking enlgish, it will be very hard for you to even order. They show you English menus, but when you say what you want to eat the waiter don't wanna here it. If you are lucky he will let you show him what you want in the menu, but only if you are lucky OR... More
