We popped in for a late and light bite to eat for lunch. We were at the bar rather than in the backroom restaurant. It was heaving, but the turnover of customers was quite quick and we were soon installed on seats at the bar. We had raciones of potato, chorizo and cheese. It was all tasty and really hit... More

We arrived too early for lunch, the restaurant opens at 1:30. We returned and were given one of the tables. The waiter was brusque with us. The tapas menu is in Spanish and on the board. We were jet lagged, and opted for the fixed price lunch. It was one of the best meals we had in Spain. Very tasty,... More

Had a good lunch here my first day in Toledo. The judias blanca was the highlight of our meal followed by the perdiz. The chef special was just ok. Skip desert as it is just flan or pudding and not that great. Service was good during our meal.

We were recommended by our hostel to come here if we wish something local and nice. However it ended up like a nightmare. When we arrived at around 8pm, we were being told that quite a lot of food was running out. Then the server was getting very impatient and rude when we said we need more time to decide.... More

Our guide strongly suggested lunch at Ludena. We found it difficult to find someone inside this very small bar to ask for a table, so when one opened up, we sat down, only to find that there was a list of some sort. We were ready to leave, when we were told it would be only "cinco minutos". So we... More

We had the address from Capucino (coffeebar) in the same plaza. There was a lot of local peaple inside and outside and we where lucky: one table at the terrass. Salmorecho, paella and the house wine was delicious. Around our table was a celebration of locals and we make conversation. The atmosphere was very Spanisch . Family Delbecque

My family and I did not want to get stuck with a mediocre, touristy meal so we asked a store owner where we should eat. She recommended Bar Restaurante Ludena and said that it was typical Toledo homemade food. Are we glad we asked around!!! This was amazing and so affordable! Everything we had was incredible and obviously homemade. The... More

We visited Toledo in the middle of summer so it was very warm. It was a nice surprise to find this restaurant with outdoor water misters that kept us cool during our outdoor dinner. It was close to our hotel Carlos V and an easy walk. Be sure to try the wonderful carcamusa--a Toledo specialty port stew--yum.

Delicious food in a beautiful traditional restaurant. Loved it! I had champignon mushrooms and one of the best paella I ever tried. Fair prices for amazingly good food!
