If you don't speak Spanish you have no chance to receive correct service. Poor quality lamb, cockroach in the salad, nothing special but, correct billing. !

Had lunch there today, salad, marcillos pan and beer. Food good, service even better. Don't know about the full Monty though ?

Very Evil. It has good location. I chose this restaurant because it had the full terrace, I thought was good. I asked a traditional homemade menu. He not seized anything. The Castilian soup was nothing more than water, bread and smoked sausage. The chicken was a chicken in the pot and barely heated in the microwave. The sweet milk rice... More

We had dinner here one evening as we passed through Burgos, they offer a Euro10/person pilgrims menu. Which compared to other pilgrims menu's we have had was just average. I did like the blood sausage, but suspect it upset my stomach th next day. Its located at the footsteps of the Burgos cathedral.

We picked this restaurant at random on an evening that had a spectacular thunderstorm so all outside seating was wet or cleared away. On passing it seemed to be a nice traditional setting with a good "buzz". The only table was at the back. We ordered off the set menu of the day (menu de dia) which had bread and... More

I had the blood sausage with peppers for first course and veal thin cut and fried. Both were great. Service was attentive. It is right in front if the cathedral. Ambiance great. Ate outside. People watched. Cheese cake desert good too.

Well, this was without doubt the worst menu del dia my husband and I have had in Spain! We received a warm welcome from the proprietor and were directed to a table for two. A few minutes later we ordered from the set €13.50 menu and both started with garlic soup, supposedly a local speciality. The soup was thin, had... More

We are really surprised by the negative reviews on Don Nuno - luckily (for once) we hadn't researched the restaurant before we visited! We opted for the 27€ menu and thoroughly enjoyed it. It wasn't haute cuisine, but good food, generous portions, and good fun. We had two types of sausage to start, garlic soup, salad, suckling pig and dessert,... More
