A window table has a great view over the Plaza Mayor but other than that there is nothing to commend this restaurant. The friendly waiters encountered by other reviewers weren't evident: they weren't unfriendly but rather indifferent in comparison to those we met in other establishments. The menu is uninspiring and expensive. The quality of the food is inadequate: we... More

Busy, friendly place for tapas meals and a good local beer, attracting students, locals and tourists. On the first floor just above the main square, so a very good location.

It is a place with a very friendly atmosphere. This place is not only known for its "tapas", one more feature of this place are its waiters ... they are very friendly.

A wide range of tapas available upstairs and overlooking the Plaza Mayor. Don't be fooled by the stairs you will have to climb. Excellent way to try a new tapa typical of Salamanca and CyL.

Yes, I liked it but I thought the prices were a bit high. Well, maybe not surprising being right on the Plaza Mayor. Still, the food was good. And one of the waiters was kind (the other was a bit of a douche) as he explained the menu in painstaking detail to a British couple who quite literally screamed at... More

Arrive on a rainy Saturday and it was packed to the entrance, but only for the bar. If you are dining, there are 2 rooms - one near the entrance and the other beyond the bar. Be early to get a table by the window and enjoy a relaxing meal watching people in Plaza Mayor. The waiters are very efficient... More

We love this place, having visited it a few years ago, with a friend who lives locally,& introduced us to Cervantes. It's easy to miss..... In a corner of The Plaza Mayor, up steep wooden stairs, which opens out into a buzzing bar & restaurant. It feels so authentic, busy, not so many tourists, mainly locals. A fantastic variety of hot & cold tapas,... More

Traditional and typically Spanish cuisine and courteous service. Not cheap, but good value - 'Menu of the Day' (Menu del Dia) A location to die for - in one of the best 'Plaza Mayor's in Spain. Lunchtime in the shade, and anytime during the evening.....
