Murivecchi is closed to Arc de Triomf which is easy to access. The restaurant provides nice buffet menu (but no daily) with awesome pizza, grilled vegetables and lasagna. The staff here were very friendly. In general, this restaurant is perfect for friends' gathering.

I had dinner at this place this weekend and was a bit disappointed. Menu selection is nice though a bit pricey for the portions you get. The person I went with got pizza which was soggy and I got fresh pappsrdelle with burrata which was too salty for my taste and pasta was way too thick. We had to order... More

We ate here 3 times on our trip to Barcelona and although the food was good, service could definitely improve. There were 4 of us eating and on two occasions only one of us wanted a starter and the timing was terrible. On the first night the person who had the starter hadn't even finished it when their main meal... More

We went with a big group and the food was OK, but just a regular Italian food. the location is good ans it is a good place for group celebrations, even service was a kind of slow. It is a correct place but I will not come back.

We love Murivecchi pizza. We live in the same building and have been big fans and have been ordering pizza to go on a regular basis. Sitting at the restaurant is a better experience and we found the pizza we love even better. Great staff too

Had a late lunch with a buddy at this place (fancied a change from eating Tapas for an entire week). Food was great, service friendly and efficient. Definitely recommend this restaurant to all Barca explorers. Love, Luis

Asked if we had a reservation, which we didn't, so we were seated in the small area by the front door, rather than the separate restaurant at the rear. The waiter then said to the waitress something in Spanish along the lines of "ah, these two are English" which I found a little offensive. The food was better than average,... More

This is authentically Italian. No English menus people so be prepared. The waitors have good English but I think this is why I loved this place so. Apart from what we got for our €20 the food was authentic but décor very modern!!! Obviously a lunch time offer but this included a meat pizza, big, a chicken pasta dish, free... More

Beginning of October me and my sister visited this restaurant as there were good comments on TripAdvisor and we stayed in a hotel very close. We went around 8.30 but it became full around 9.30 so next time we maybe would go a bit later. The food was great, many choices and lovely staff. Price vs quality was good aswell!

Staying in El Born / La Ribera

Neighbourhood Profile
El Born / La Ribera
The labyrinth that is El Born becomes most apparent the moment you turn down one of its side streets. But this is one of the few labyrinths you might actually enjoy losing your way in. After all, there are few places that live and breathe such exciting energy regardless of the time of day. This neighbourhood seamlessly transcends the old and new parts of the city, reflected in its vast array of restaurants ranging from fancy Michelin-star establishments to trendy fusion restaurants. Here you'll find historical and cultural attractions such as the popular Picasso Museum and the Gothic cathedral La Santa Maria del Mar, where you just might be able to catch a traditional Catalan wedding.
