Excellent variety of tapas. Try for lunch if you can't get in for dinner or sit at the bar if no tables are available.

There is a reason you must arrive before 6 pm in the late night Dinner culture of Barcelona. Or You will wait and wait UP TO TWO HOURS, and its worth waiting for at any length of time. The Best Tapas Anywhere in Spain, Unbelievably...More

Or rather - stay away so there will be a free space for me 😀What a great spot. The food looks and taste fantastic. There might be lots of people - so try to avoid the catalunya rush houers. Late afternoon is a great time

This was a recommendation from a friend of a friend, and we're so glad we listened! The BEST tapas we had in Barcelona, and amazing service! Put your name in for a table, then sit at the bar and have a drink while perusing the...More

We loved this restaurant so much that we are there every day we were in Barcelona. The food is PHENOMENAL. Everything was exquisitely fresh and delicious. Our favorites were the cabreaos (egg over shoestring fries - must have!!), beef and foie gras, lobster paella, and...More

For my boyfriend and I, this restaurant was worth flying in 2 hours, go for dinner, fly back the next day. They don't take reservations, so head there before having a drink before dinner to put down your name on the reservation list. The two...More

Had an amazing lunch. Tapas were unbelievable. I loved the simple Jamon, shrimp, crab, etc. Make the effort to go there. It's so successful my friend said there is an MBA case study on it.

Passing through the glorious Plaça Catalunya, you
enter the newer city district of Eixample, literally
translated as “extension,” which immediately becomes
recognisable by its more spacious streets and elegant
atmosphere. The main artery of this sizable district,
Passeig de Gracia, is lined with high-end
international designer stores. Not to be outdone, the
glitz and glamour of this zone is perhaps best

Tapas (pintxos) are most definitely available at your table or at the bar. This restaurant is mostly tapas, but sometimes offers paella late at night (after 8:30 pm when we were there).

They have an extensive menu with many items I would consider gluten free, I.e. Serrano ham, tropical fruit salads etc.
