I live near here, and it's one of my favourite restaurants in Gracia. Superb food, lovely service, reliably delighful, and not even very expensive.

I go back here every time I have someone to visit me in Barcelona. Food is just delicious, service is lovely and atmosphere is great! Always busy after 10/11 - Spanish dinner time, if you want a quieter setting aim for just after it opens. Sweet potato bravas are a must!!!!

Nice bar with a good choice of wine (the dry red Catalan one the owner recommended was perfect!) and quite original tapas. Good choice of vegetarian food. We had asparagus "chupa-chups", baked shiitake, patatas bravas with pesto and cannelloni with porcini mushrooms. And of course a dessert! Everything was tasty and the interior is simple but cosy.

Back in Barca had of course to come again to eat at Samsara. We took the menu of 7 courses plus dessert and a bottle of wine for less than 50€. So excellent quality to price ratio. Although still very tasty it was not as amazing as last couple of times. Maybe less contrast in the flavours. Lemon Sorbet was... More

Very trendy little restaurant serving slightly more expensive but beautifully presented food. Ate here with friends and the time flew by as we enjoyed the atmosphere and tapas.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on a side street in Gracia. Great service and unique tapas made for a momentous evening. So good that we went back a second time. I would highly recommend this establishment. Try the lamb.

The food is very original and tastes amazing! Its a bit pricey, we ordered something like 6 tapas and it cost 40 euros, the tapa were a bit small so you order a lot if your hungry. Its great for a dinner' or maybe just a snack. Very friendly staff

We had dinner here with friends one night. You should book a table on the weekend. It took some time till the waiter attended us but when he came he took his time to explain the menu and tapas. I liked that a lot. We choose the menu with tapas and drinks included. Its a fixed price but you get... More

This restaurant used to be one of the very best in barcelona. A pearl. Went today and it was terrible! Stay away from it! Food not fresh and with way too much salt on it. Walking out with my mouth burn by the poorly mixed flavours. Hope it was just a bad night... But I can't but give a 0... More

Best Tapas of our four days in Barcelona this trip. Unusual menu with wide range of specials. Very convivial atmosphere. The low stool seats whilst a bit poor for the back [I would not recommend taking your elderly relatives] help create the informal calm atmosphere.

Thank ianhtigh

Staying in Gracia

Neighbourhood Profile
Gracia literally stands out from the pack. It used to be an independent town until late into the 19th century. Though it’s just a short commute away from the centre, a visit here feels like you’re in a whole different city. The bohemian vibe has drawn many international artists to this area, resulting in a wide selection of galleries, live music and artsy boutique stores. The nightlife is centered around the vibrant Gracia’s plaças, where young and old gather to enjoy a drink outside. Carrer de Verdi, its main street, offers affordable restaurants and a movie theatre that screens new as well as classic films in their original language. However Gracia's greatest treasure lies just up the hill at Guell Park, where Antoni Gaudi's vibrant and revolutionary art sculptures stand atop unequaled views of Barcelona.
